    Nice al 👍. You stuck it on rough deliberately. Alex and Blaine gray are the best plastering vids on TH-cam. Taking time to show beginners, adding time to their day.

      😂😂😂 I wondered if someone would notice that. Yes I did keep it rougher than normal to simulate very rough corners so those watching could see what was possible. Well spotted. 👏👏👏
      Thanks for your support on the channel.

    You've helped me so so much. I'm starting next week with plastering my lowered ceiling. It runs throigh the entire living-, diningroom and kitchen. Its about 20 square mtrs. I've never plastered before, but with your tips and tricks and all basics im confident enough to do it like a pro: you. Much respect Alex. Cheers m8.

    Another great video buddy.
    I've noticed in this video and your Float and Set video, you really got the lighting spot on to show what you're doing. I feel like this was missing a little in your timings video. I think it was so bright out and your camera was aimed at it, so it made the walls appear dark, so it was more difficult to see what you were trying to show the plaster should be for each stage.
    Is it possible you could make a new timings video in future with a huge LED light pointed at the wall? I know it's part of the TH-cam guidance to reupload similar or even identical subjects over time to help growth, even though you've already done vids on it.

    Just had a bathroom plastered and the corners are absolutely terrible.
    Now means I can't paint it as it is and needs a ton of rework to make it nice. thankfully I have a dry wall sander and a 1/3 sheet sander. Bad corners equal a ton more work to get it nice

    Hi Alex so before and after first wet trowel only? Do you brush angles before twitching or dry? And one more do you know the rag I angle, looks like 90 compared to marshaltown which is 103 and digs a bit?thx

    • @AlexMorleyPlastering
      @AlexMorleyPlastering  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t use the corner trowel until the closing in stage of the second wet trowel.
      Any sooner you are disforming the corner. Pretty sure it’s the 103. And I only use a small brush after the second twitch.
