Hey, i’m early for once! This channel is a guilty pleasure lmao… wanted to ask how you got started with budgeting? It’s something that would interest me but it looks super complex haha.
i just started, I love the binder so I bought myself one on Amazon for like $13 and it came with stickers (like rent, utilities, etc) and the plastic (forgot the name) pocket things. I basically just put the stickers I thought were most important for me on them like again rent, utilities, household, personal, groceries, savings, etc… and just went through my bank account and put money in each folder til everything had a place and then I started doing it every paycheck. I however don’t stuff actual cash money, I leave it all in the bank or most and I use fake money I also got on Amazon just cause I am not comfortable having that much money in my home.
Etsy won't let me leave a review so I'm going to leave it here. I received my envelopes/placeholders and I LOVE them. They're so pretty, great quality and go with my binder perfectly. I saw on your sister's channel that her vinyl is rose gold, is that something you'll offer in the future?
My mom told me I couldn’t buy nothing with $20 in my spend envelope lol 😂. Well we went to Hobby Lobby and they had just about everything I like on sale for 40% off or more. I found a budget binder for $4.50 regular price $35 and card stock $5.50 regular price $21.99. That’s why I budget because you never know when you will find a great deal! I had at least 12 binders in my Amazon cart each one $10 or more. I kept saving my money because I knew I could find something cheaper and it wasn’t a need. I emptied my Amazon cart when I got home lol 😂. I’ve made new tags for my binder instead of buying them. They are beautiful too! Now I have enough to change my design every week if I want too. Small amounts go far if you are a smart shopper! I KNOW I was addicted to online shopping so I don’t keep money in my account anymore. Kind a hard to shop with no money in your account lol 😂. In the future I may start putting money in my online spending account but NOT until I learn self control lol 😂.

When you have place holders in your binders that means that that money has been deposited into your bank, correct? What are your feelings about the recent collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank in your area and do you feel confident still keeping the most of your money in a bank situation? Would love to know how you feel about all of this thank you!
