Can you do a cash envelope/budgeting “tour”? I would really like to see a run through of you explaining what everything means (e.g., what the placeholders do, how you organize everything once you’ve spent money etc. 💵💵
I found your videos so randomly (or by the algorithm) and I can’t explain how excited it makes me to organize and budget. I could write a whole paragraph but the quick version is : thank you.
Some faq I keep seeing and can answer 💜 1) "What's misc?" Miscellaneous (Misc) is a term used to say "anything extra" or "whatever's leftover" you can think of it as a "rainy day" savings jar. She answered what she uses it for personally under a comment below if you're interested in looking. 2) "How often/how much do you get paid?" She said at the start that she gets paid bi weekly which is two paychecks per month. The amount I think fluctuates between 1.2k - 1.3k per paycheck. Meaning that her balance to work with every month is 2.4k - 2.6k But I'm a new sub so I could be wrong with this assessment 😂
I need this system, I'm so guilty of spending money when I don't need too like getting makeup or a new squishmallow. This system would help keep me accountable for the money as I can actively see it. Questions: How do you ask for the money from the bank do you ask for certain amount of each bills? And do you keep coins(think that would be a fun saving challenge)? Do you have multiple bank accounts for the important funds like savings, emergency funds, school, etc...? Or is it all in one account? How do you keep track of it all??? Only asking as I'm very interested in getting into cash budgeting system and was never taught how to be financially responsible.
I had stopped the challenge year before last I may need to try again. It's very intimidating with the amounts SO BIG CONGRATS to you for sticking it out an completing it!! Even if you dont get to goal for savings by the end of the year you are Definitely close!!!💖💖💖

yes make 100 box with the envelopes please and i like the savings challenge of it too have heart's envelope the one that you color make it that way and i buy it around the end of December of 2023
When is the best time in the month to START budgeting? Should you already have the next months bills taken care of to have enough time to save properly?
Your new binder is so adorable I actually bought one like yours after one of your videos wanted the lilac but they were sold out so I got the white one Still waiting Congratulations on your 100 envelope challenge that's amazing 👏
I love watching these videos because i wish i could do this. Lol I spend a lot and I save pretty good I know I can do better if I did something like this. I just can’t sit there and focus on it and do it myself. But I love seeing it be done!
Hi, I love your content and I was wondering if you could do one where you basically go through and tell where all of this money will go to and explain how you will use it❤
Hey girl love the video as always 🫶🏼 loving the new wallet and yay for the etsy shop♥️. Also congrats on the growth cuz I swear it jumped up tremendously lol love seeing that. And I so can’t wait for the 100 envelope unstuffing :) congrats on completing that challenge.
Hi girl, so happy to see your Etsy shop is open. Could you please add just vinyl labels to your Etsy shop? I sometimes make my own envelopes, but have no way of labeling them.
1.) Congrats on the 100 envelope challenge! 2.) Just curious, what are you going to school/college for? 3.) I need to do this and try to be more responsible with money because every time I get some I tell myself I am going to save it then I end up spending most of it if not all of it. 4.) Any advice or tips for saving motivation?
OMG i have not started, I think I might not do a big christmas this year.... I know I am buying my spouse christmas gifts. I buy my family gifts all year round. Maybe secret santa this year lol
I see you don't really respond to comments, but maybe you will with this one. I just watched your channel for the first time last night. You may have already addressed this in one of your many videos. I love all the organization, budgeting and planning. But my question is, what is your method for physically paying all your bills with cash. Do you end up putting the cash in the bank and using a card? Like a mortgage, insurance, car payments and what not. I separate my money, but I do it in separate bank accounts. I like the idea of separating the cash out, but I pay all my bills online. What do you suggest for that part? I like the idea of breaking down the spending money even more, like you have done. Appreciate your time if you respond. Thank you!
But my question is, what is your method for physically paying all your bills with cash. It does seem silly: get cash from bank, put cash in envelopes, take money out of envelopes, deposit cash in bank.
@@DavidEVogel I think no matter what, if you're paying your bills in cash, it is going to be more work on your end, as far as getting that money to the business, in whatever way you make it happen; going to bank, checks, money orders or what not. What seems to work best for me is to have several bank accounts and separate out most of my money that way, i.e. several different checking accounts, with their own debit cards, and at least 2 or 3 savings accounts. I pay all my bills online out of those accounts, including gas and groceries. I order groceries online and don't like going into the gas station. So I have an acct for gas/groceries that gets its alloted amount. And acct that our mortgage comes out of, my husband has his own acct and all the money is initially funneled into a main checking and immediately gets distributed into separate accts. You can have as many accts as you want. However, I am also trying to incorporate the envelope system at home with whatever amount of extra money we have that doesn't fall into those other categories, as a way to save some extra and try to not to frivolously spend those $1, $5, and so on, but give them more purpose. We'll see how that goes. I think any other way you go about it, it is going to be more work one way or another.
@@StaceeMassey I agree. The key to financial success is to live within your means, and live in dignity after retirement. Any road that you take will “be more work one way or another.” Financial freedom is work.

Awesome cash stuffing video and congratulations on finishing that challenge 🫶🏽🎉…..oh yes that binder is lovely!! And congrats for opening up an Etsy shop!💐💗
Miscellaneous means "everything else that I do NOT have a category designated." I dont like miscellaneous. $1000 spent on miscellaneous got you wha? Category is way too broad.
Misc. can be for a tip, if I go over budget in another category and need a couple of dollars, if I buy something that costs me a couple of dollars like chips etc.

how do you know how many of each bills to withdraw from the bank?
Where can I buy the budget binder plus the planners
What is the name of acrylic container that you put money on? I can't really find it

Do you have a tutorial or for beginners video
Heyy I have a question , when you are budgeting in your cash binder wallet you just put what you feel you are going to spend ?
you just put what you feel you are going to spend ?
No. Stuffing is based on past spending. Thats what makes it a budget.
