    Thanks for posting this diy! Question, is it absolutely necessary to bleed the clutch line after removing the bleeder block if you’re able to cap off the line and minimal amount of fluid is lost? I don’t have any friends 🤣

    • @GoWithACI
      @GoWithACI  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. You have to bleed the system bc sir enters the slave. Or can enter.

    Hey that valve seems to be have the two pins missing in my golf gti, could this be the reason the clutch pedal isn’t coming back up? It seems some what loose

      Mine just did this today. Worked fine pulling out of the garage but when I went to pull out of the neighborhood i put the clutch in and hit the gas to take off and it like stuck to the floor and i just revved really high until i figured out what happened and now it has a strong burning smell

    So, doing this mod on my 2018 Golf R will prevent clutch slippage issues on a stage 1 tune? I’m thinking of getting the ECS bleeder block and ECS clutch line as well.

    • @GoWithACI
      @GoWithACI  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kris P no. It will not prevent slippage from a stage one tune in an r. Or any platform we have. It will help prolong the life on a non tuned modded car. With a JB4. The tune changed the game all together. But still worth doing man.

    • @ryanthomastew
      @ryanthomastew 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This mod will help improve the feel of clutch engagement and thereby allow you to better module the clutch pedal and reduce possible wear on the clutch plate. Hope that's a realistic explanation. Cheers!

    I have a 2019 Vw Jetta 1.4, 6 speed manual. Would this be the same process for this type of car and when I’d bleed without the pressure tool do I have someone hold down the clutch while I open the valve, like a brake bleeding service ?

    • @GoWithACI
      @GoWithACI  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Exact same process. Got to Amazon and buy the motive products pressure bleeder. Only way to get a pedal back.

    Sorry for my ignorance, but why do they even put this is and what is its purpose? If it makes your clutch last longer whats the point? And if it makes it so that you cant drop the clutch on launch that seems dumb too, it seems like it limits performance.

    So who was the mental midget who thought that putting a hydraulic delay valve in the clutch system was a good idea? Detuning the clutch for “comfort” is asinine.
    You don’t buy a manual for “comfort”, you want comfort? Get a bloody automatic.
    This is what happens when you let focus groups and bean counters have a part in the design and decision making process, let the engineers design and build the product, manuals are made for performance, not comfort :rolleyes:

    is this a mistake from factory! Why this plastic needs to be removed?

    • @GoWithACI
      @GoWithACI  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a mistake. The factory did this to help with an easier pedal feel and easier clutch engagement. However if you decided to speed shift or wanna track the car, that delay valve makes the clutch slip from the factory

    when i can i go off the road and change the gears with hand in the engine bay then go in and start and like that the car starts to shift but im not sure i am fixing it like that
    i bleed the air and the fluid and same thing is back.

    • @GoWithACI
      @GoWithACI  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ManFlxSrsRwy yes. It really does. Gives it some feed back and makes the clutch engage quicker and no slip. Definitely a must do. Replace the clutch hose as well for an even better stock pedal feel.
