Thanks for the video again Miku. I would request one about how to use conditionals like "if" in Japanese. Regards! Two attempts, 1. I have to study Japanese before going to sleep. 2. I have to think before writing in Japanese. 1.寝る前に日本語お勉強する 2.日本語を書いて前に思えます
Hi Miku Sensei, in the anki deck for 前に you also use 前は sometimes and I can't figure out when to use は instead of に. It's not mentioned in this video and I can't find it anywhere else. おねがいします。
So in the sentence I will read a book before going into bed The reason we say まえに instead of のまえに it's because there is only the verb ねる before まえに and not a noun? So のまえに goes after a noun?
"チェックする" i really get upset by english in japanese. In french we try to eradicate words like "E-mail" or "streaming" but Japanese do the opposite. I would say it's by far what i find the weirdest about Japan !
@@Macieks300 It's a living language and we have new concepts to communicate. Thus we try to invent new words in our language. I actually never heard anyone say : "keep french pure" we talk about "making it french" we find equivalents, adapt the phonetic. If you look at Japanese you have 2 different types of text and the gap is very huge between a text about Japanese culture and one about fashion or high tech, both visually and phonetically. In a text about fashion, you have almost no kanji and it's at least 60% 片仮名英語 (for the nouns at least).
@@fhdcbdfkdjnisdnoi I'm not that knowledgeable about France so I must admit I might've made a mistake. Maybe what I heard is something about France pushing for only using French in France and disparaging people not speaking French or something like that.

Joshua Thabane There is a difference in the nuance. と implies meeting each other or meeting each other halfway while に means you meet up with someone or you bump into them out of the blue.
もっと勉強する前に、「を」の発音が分かりたい! When I first started studying Japanese, everyone said 「を」と「お」were pronounced the same. I hear you, and sometimes others pronounce them differently. Can you explain this in a video or point me to a resource on it? I have googled it, and I can not find a satisfying answer :)
