In Australian Survivor, this guy Robbie leaned back at a reward and there was an idol clue well within his view the camera zooms in on the clue and Rob goes “oh my god...” it hovers but looks like he found it, and then he goes “look at that view” and stares at the sunset horizon in front of him and not the clue.
The Nick appearing out of nowhere montage is hands down the hardest I've ever laughed in Survivor. They had SO many clips of it happening, and with Ben talking about how creepy it was over it was gold. Then they seemingly move on and leave the joke behind for a couple minutes, and Nick randomly pops into Jeremy and Ben's conversation. I couldn't breathe the first time I saw that lol
My favourite was when the camera showed Tony whispering to someone during the vote and then it pans to the left to reveal nick leaning towards them and staring at them intently
The time in Borneo when Greg got himself lost in the immunity challenge. The subtitles said "Greg lost" moments later they went back to Greg with the subtitles "Greg still lost"
My favourite is in HvV when Rob and Russell are discussing who to vote off in a seemingly private conversation. Russell then suggests Courtney or Sandra and it cuts to a wide shot of all 4 of them.
My favorite thing with the Debbie jokes was the timing. Right when she says "little do they know i have modeled on and off for thirty years" it pops up "part time model"
Wait you missed one. The Amazon when they show the women tribe preparing for a challenge to a marching beat, and the men are just asking the 8 ball if the girls will notice them. That was all editing and hilarious!
I wish the editors would hide if a player found the idol or not, like Amanda in Micronesia. That would give more time to human moments on the show while making for more impactful tribal councils.
They did that with the first ever immunity idol in Guatemala too. They didn't show whether or not Gary found it so it was super exciting when he pulled it out at tribal council.
in season 31 when Fishbach is crying about the rain and says something along the line of “i just need the rain to stop even for just 5 minutes” and then it cuts to lighting and the rain pouring again 😭 makes me laugh everytime
“Elapsed burgers” is amazing, but i also really love when jay was looking for an idol, and he talked about how if he found the idol the music would play, and the editors added the music as he sang
In one world when Kat and Troy were doing the memorizing items challenge the way the editors made the montage and putting farm music over it was hilarious
You forgot in Australian Outback when that guy says there are no fish in the lake and the camera immediately goes underwater to show tons of fish swimming around or the time when the camera crew films as an entire camp gets washed away 🤣
Rewatching Guatemala, and at one point Rafe says something along the lines of being terrible at finding his way in the jungle and his job pops up: Wilderness Guide........ gave me a good chuckle
It makes me sad that Nick was crapped on so hard in winners at war, he was one of my favorites. The thing is if you take a step back Nick's game in winners at war is really good, he was on the outs at the merge but quickly integrated himself and was even the swing vote a few times, but sadly made a crucial mistake at the final 7 in getting rid of Jeremy, even though it was justified because according to Michelle, Jeremy and him had never previously worked together. He also tried to get Tony out twice but couldn't because Tony won immunity and then off camera Tony made 2 fake idols and showed them to Nick at the final 6.
And apparently Nick really wanted to keep Jeremy around and not get rid of him at final 7, but Jeremy continued to make it clear to Nick that he had absolutely no interest in working with him. WAW really did him sooo dirty with the edits
@@TheMurrmursonbottle It's funny because on paper it worked, he disadvantaged someone in the opposing alliance, and as a result they lost and his ally won, but sadly that pushed the target onto him.

One of my favorites is all the way back in Borneo. When Rich is unsure if he should tell Rudy about his sexuality. And we hard cut to Rudy who already knows. One of the early editing bits that really made me laugh.
I love in the first episode of David vs Goliath how they start fast forwarding Christian talking about how he beat the slide puzzle and all the different ways he could have finished faster
One of my favorite edits from survivor (I watched so much in a short period I honestly don’t remember what season or players) was when someone had an idol and told someone else and, per usual, made the person they told promise not to tell anyone else. Well cut to a huge montage of that person telling multiple people and then all of them telling someone and soon enough everyone at camp knew person 1 had an idol 😂
Albert confesses his feelings for Coach, Coach then gives a long flowery philosophical monologue about homoerotism within the dragon slayer community, punctuated by the occasional eagle screech. Albert then caresses Coach's cheek and begs Coach to just shut up and kiss him. They both embrace and kiss, the Survivor theme song plays, but all of the vocals are replaced by eagle screeches, each screech louder than the last. Then an eagle screech transition over to what is happening on the Savaii tribe as eagles fly overhead of the camp.
my favorite was how they played this really sad and emotional song during Jenna M.'s speech and departure in All-Stars, and then they used the same song In Exile Island while Bruce was being medevac'd for constipation while Shane was naked. I don't think they ever used it again. Shambo's dream sequence deserves an honorable mention too.
This is a minor one, but Survivor Nicaragua had back to back episodes to start the season.. The first Hour had "Jud" listed in the opening credits, but after the first tribal... The 2nd hour intro had changed to "Fabio".
To be fair Phillip was legitimately bullying Brandon, I know Brandon is a hothead and can be a jerk but Phillip was egging him on constantly for no reason
MynamesCona This might be controversial but I think the producers should have intervened and asked Phillip what constantly harassing Brandon accomplished
Nah, I'm sorry but while Philip might have been overbearing, Brandon took it incredibly too personal with his toxic masculinity. Dude was not in a great place mentally at all, but Philip was not responsible for that. (And I hate both of them)
theres a moment in cagayan when morgan says something and then smiles and they make a little sparkle noise and it cracks me up every time i show someone the season
I still maintain that the multi-hour montage of Christian talking to Jeff during the immunity challenge that he ended up winning was great. I genuinely believe that he could have talked for 2 hours about exoskeleton research and sandwiches.
Does anyone remember that moment from BB21 where Tommy kept trying to tell Christie "You can always look at me and see home" but she kept not understanding him? The editing from that moment is hilarious!
A new challenger has entered the battle! Jake’s imaginary tribal counsel was incredible. Of course the footage was just that of the tribal that did not happen YET, but we didn’t know that.
The editing on the Kat vs. Troyezan memory challenge match up will always be my favorite. As well as when Debbie was in game changers and they literally showed a flashback to show her lying and being crazy about the balance thing lol
I think it was in blue v white v no collar when they added the wilhelm scream over willie falling. My sides went into orbit cause it was so out of place

The scene in Cagayan where the Brains tribe were practising throwing water into buckets with classical music edited over the top deserves a mention.

Alec's face during Christian's challenge monologue should be on here
"Oh my god bro" Love Alec!
I wouldn’t say he’s an impossibility for him returning, last time I checked the official survivor account is following his instagram

No that would take away from human moments if we don’t get the full story because they’re hiding so much
