Fellow Compass owner 2023 Sport and my first Jeep. Hearing mostly negative comments in online groups about them. Like seeing yours do great offroad. Just discovered your channel, will be subscribing and watch them all. Great painting and guitar work also!
The lift was from americantrailproduct.com control arms were from valkyrieoffroad.com my cold air intake I think I had to randomly find on ebay since K&N was sold out. I found the Predator 245/65R17s on prioritytire.com and my wheel spacers and lugs were from Dynofit on Amazon
@@NorthTexasDirtwe are doing good, doing another trip to cross bar on the 17th you should come back out and we can hit the trails together and do some overlanding
Probably the best compass out on the roads today. Just curious, in one of your videos you mentioned putting a k&n cold air intake on, did you have to do a tune or anything along with that? Or did you just do the install and you were good to go? Did you notice any difference in performance? Looking forward to more videos, thanks for the content.
Jeep did a great job for sure. Just wish they gave it a little more power. I didn.t get it tuned but I probably should have. You can definitely tell a difference, fortunately.
So it turns out there are two engine configurations in the 2018-2019 model years that the intake doesn't work on, and sadly I have one of those configurations. It's mentioned in the small print in the manual. Thanks for the help though@@NorthTexasDirt
Hey missed you. Thanks for the video, they always have genuine warmth to them. Btw, I just replaced my auxiliary battery and a faulty fuel pump in my compass (though the latter malfunctioning was probably the fault of the aux batt going bad) was curious if you had any issues so far with your compass. Mine just reached 100k. Best to you!
I can say this and not feel too annoying saying it because we’re buds, but FIRST. For once in my whole TH-cam existence. Great video friend :)
Thank you very much, Sam!
Input "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue " into the GPS. Straight to the big guy!

Absolutely love it!!!! We need more of these adventures!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Should be headed to the Crossbar Ranch Off Road Park next weekend!

@@NorthTexasDirt Okay awesome. Any chance you know the model number on it? I got 77-1565KS, but it wouldn't fit my 2018 trailhawk
let me see if I can find it@@tibsnow
@@tibsnow 77-1565KS is all I'm finding but I'll double check that.

Good to be back! And yes. That dang aux battery got me too. Only issue I've had besides replacing a tie rod. Congrats on 100k miles.
