In that sense, saying him or her doesn’t matter. If they ever bring up that a certain preference for a pronoun that should be used, I will make sure to. I love Drab Majesty's videos because they're not just a bunch of quick cuts. They look at the past with affection and the commentary on those past aesthetics is subtle, while also building on them. Thank you.
usually when bands try to sound/look 80s it fails miserably and just looks try-hard and sounds cheesy. that is not the case with this guy. he pulls it off flawlessly. aesthetic on fucking point. if it wasnt for the high def quality of the video i wouldn't be able to tell you if this was from 1984 or 2019.
Drab Majesty found a new timeline. one that mimics not of the past or predicts the future.
Driving 150 miles to Phoenix go see these guys. I don’t know what it is about their music, but they have this beautiful ethereal quality to them that conjures the same vibes I get from Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, and the Danse Society. It’s really dreamlike and I just remembering playing Careless over and over like 3 times in one Day I was at work. Really looking forward to seeing them
This has such a new romantic vibe to it. They shine in it. Beautifully dreamlike like being at an old time private engagement and sung so harmoniously its deliciously divine.

Absolutely love these bands... There are also awesome bands like The Soft Moon (mostly some songs though), Lebanon Hanover, Clan Of Xymox... The first time I ever heard She Past Away was 'Ruh' (from Addams Family Dancing Video) -- I immediately got hooked :D
