"Too Soon To Tell" (official) lyrics:
(VERSE 1)
I CAN SEE YOUR FUTURE NOW
STRETCHING ON THROUGH THE YEARS
DEVOTION, IS NOT A WORD I FEAR
WHAT FALLS BETWEEN, YOUR HAND AND MINE
FORSAKING, FOR BREAKING,
A SCULPTURE THAT WE MADE IN TIME
(CHORUS)
DON’T YOU WONDER HOW IT COULD BE ?
TOO SOON TO TELL
TOO SOON TO TELL
(VERSE 2)
IF HATE IS WHAT YOU CLAIM
HOW CAN IT BE UNDONE ?
IF ONLY WE
COULD BARE THE PAIN THAT STRAINS TO MAKE US ONE
(CHORUS)
DON’T YOU WONDER HOW IT COULD BE ?
TOO SOON TO TELL
TOO SOON TO TELL
DON’T YOU WONDER HOW IT COULD BE ?
TOO SOON TO TELL
TOO SOON TO SEE
(VERSE 3)
SEE YOU AROUND
NOT AS A FRIEND
A SHADOW
REMINDING ME OF WHO I’VE BEEN
(CHORUS) - เพลง
My late friend, Nafa, would have LOVED this band. This is pure 1980s aesthetic-new-wave at its height. It will always remind me of him.
R.I.P., duder.
Saw drab Majesty live a week ago, and let me tell you, they sound even BETTER live. I couldn't believe it. Every note, every vocal. Top level band here!!
I saw them a few days ago headlining at the Observatory OC, and I was blown away 🎉
A song that didn't exist but takes me back to 1983-84 middle school...Perfect...
Exactly this
This album is the best unreleased 80s darkwave I've ever heard.
agreed
I need to agree, never get bored of listening...
I can’t agree MOREEEEEE!
@@Soulsalivation Hey i did and i must say i really like. Tx
And I still agree!
“Don’t you wonder how it could be?” Damn, that hits hard.
"a shadow reminding me who I've been...."
The refreshing and dark sound of past times, 80's flavour and futuristic nostalgia.
I am very much with you 🤘🦋

@@yannickcampuzanomorales1170 🙏
I just stumbled on this from a good punk younger friend. I am 55 and this reminds me of so many sounds of the 80s...but very ethereal and light droning melodic ...so wonderful
I'm close to 50 years I'm from old school dark. Siouxsie ,J Division The Mission Cocteaw Twins, Chrome and Helios Creed. This is excellent !!!
Love the Cocteau Twins. Listen to Chior Boy cuz they are great too👍
Damian Edge , same. I saw the Cure in '89 on the Disintegration tour. They were my favorite band at the time. Also Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy.
Drab Majesty has a lot of Old-School Goth attributes. It's as if, they took out my music collection, and handpicked certain elemental pieces - recombined aspects to make something familiar: Yet, beautifully refreshing and new. A buddy of mine, recommended them - I'm not disappointed...!!! Yes, I can hear, a heavy; Cocteau Twins influence in the echoed guitars, a Robert Smith type vocalization, and a simple synthesizer keyframe registration, which emulates, far to many bands for me to list (circa 80's). Even the video presentation, makes me think of something David Bowie would have done - It's Great...!!!
Damian Edge Chameleons (UK) vibe here for me too...LOVE IT!
I think Maybe more like the chameleons
The aesthetics this band uses are spot the fuck on. The whole UFO death cult theme mixed with the beautifully haunting dark wave sound. My new favorite band
This is so unbelievably beautiful.
Just about the best band to emerge from the last five years
And there I was, wondering how the 80s music disappeared and I stumbled upon with this band and this amazing retro 80s style. So amazing!
Amazing song from one of the best albums I have ever heard, right next to the best albums by The Cure, Cocteau Twins with a bit of Depeche Mode and synth pop charm and nostalgia from 80s, totally addictive!
I am so obsessed with Drab Majesty. I haven’t been this blown away by a band in such a long time.
yeah, same here!
to me 'The Demonstration' is as addictive and fascinating as 'Disintegration' by The Cure and 'Violator' by Depeche Mode and both are on the very top of my personal favourite albums of all time, every time I start to listen one song it just pulls me in and end up listening to it over and over again and don't want to listen to anything else really
Its what I m listening from my teenager times ....and after I discover VR SEX ,,,,,,,,)!(--**-*-*
@@subradial it's funny that you call out those two albums because listening to Drab and Twin Tribes recently has evoked the same sort of amazement and wonder I had as a teenager when I first listened to them. It's great being able to relive fantastic times that have passed by embracing amazing new music.
Same
Beautiful embracing song .. I like its crunchy darkly sound very talented band and tranquilizing voice of the singer
That bit that kicks in about 0.52 the CHONKY synth bass is so JUICY 😍😍😍
Drab Majesty's "sound" is a identical match of how my soul sounds/vibrates in higher dimensions.
I totally get what your saying💜💜💜
Yes me too as i fart so pure and fresh the vibrations spread salvation and insight for those aware .
@@nexus6514 lol
Yes me too!
Me too!!
These guys are simply fantastic - bringing me back to that Cocteau Twin/Clan of Xymox/4AD hazy 80's day....way back in the way back machine. I'll stay there
And never leave...
A beautiful relic of art you are my dear
Absolutely brilliant. The Chameleons and Ultravox rolled into one and that is a good thing.
Love, love, love. x
Powerfull, reinvented 80´s Sound. I cant stop listening.
According to Spotify, I’ve spent 11 hours listening to Drab Majesty in this year with Too Soon to Tell being my fav song. I think it’s time I see them live.
11 hours is not a lot you know
11hrs? Lightweight.
They’re awesome life and Andrew is extremely nice and down to earth if you get to meet him
my record is 28
I have phases in my life where all I want to listen to is 80s or new wave, it's time again
One of the best of today's Darkwave bands, they create such amazing music and visual art/style.
DM is deeply connected to the higher dimension and that is overwhelmingly translated into their music
This song reminds me of the sound of The Cure in the 1980's. It has that pleasantly dark and smooth echoey sound from the album Pornography. I dig it a lot!
Every time they do something new it becomes my next favorite thing ever.
Wow this band is incredible so glad I found them huge fan now!!!!
listen to 39 by design, long division and check out the lead singers other group, vr sex
Dreamy,yet dark,so 80s
Sisters of Mercy + Depeche Mode = Drab Majesty (simply the best)! 🎸🎸♥️
DRAB MAJESTY is my new religion
mine too bro 😊❤
Mine to guys!!🐍🌹🌹🐍
This album has a ton of heavens gate references especially the song for 39 by design. The bands whole aesthetic is like a UFO death cult. Really brilliant if you think about it
Какая волшебная музыка, спасибо , что есть такая музыка,я балдею❤❤❤❤
If anyone tops this album this year I'll be surprised.
HO-LY SHIT, KID!! Just stumbled upon your music. I'm in love. Just preordered. I'm very excited to hear it as I can tell you have a lot to offer. Love. 💚
This band is just impossibly amazing and strange
@Jan Havelka … I concur ! *_A perfect description !!!_* *✨⡡🧚*
Really good. Just recently discovered this talent, wow, what a find. All their albums are good (IMO), particularly the last two albums.
WOW!
Drab Majesty and Double Echo. Two of the best post-punk bands of last twenty years.
Beautiful
so i've been listening to this multiple times a day. the chorus is super catchy and when the vocal harmonies come in.. so good
I started on some anti drpressants and this music made me feel again , on meds i dont feel music as much but drab majesty appeals to my inner demon and punchs through the medicated veil :)
Well Spoken!
Also, best of luck for dealing with the depression. Maybe listen to the demon, from time to time? :D
good luck my friend
I live with this song in my head. 💜
Pretty addictive
It's like Bowie meets Depeche Mode. Maybe a little Sisters of Mercy. I love it. 10/10
I hear a heavy "Cure" influence in there too.
Night Drive...give them a listen if u like this.
It looks like Depeche Mode + The Cure but Depeche Mode has a secret love with Wong Kar-Wai.
and mid-era Killing Joke
YEah deft clan of xymox, some depehce mode but also some flock of seagulls. They are a good weird mix and brilliant live (almost mindblowing)
@stephen roldan
Ok but why do I feel like seeing them perform live would give me a sense of purpose in life?
Очень красивая песня. Атмосферная. Романтичная и волшебная. Спасибо за вашу музыку
My favorite song after "39 By Design."
I just recently discovered Dais Records via Night Flight and am loving so much of this music. The whole Drab Majesty series on there is super entertaining and great music.
Black turns color.
This band was the best accidental playlist queue ive ever had
Real Music, Real Talent
Космически прекрасно 💖
🖤🖤🖤🖤
If you like this you might want to check out She Past Away from Turkey. You will love them. I normally listen to black metal but this style draws you in at a different level. Very cool nonetheless.
I think they are from Greece, actually (according to their bandcamp page).
Dani El yes they are great I probably like them even better even if some ^ don't
And they ARE Turkish. They day so on their official website shepastaway.org/ and it says to on wiki and their official FB page.
I prefer SPA though.
Already knew about she past away love em
I just saw them in the Smashing Pumpkins video for the song Silvery Sometimes. Someone in the comments mentioned that it's drab majesty and suggested to check them out. So I'm here and I'm glad I am. It's not a new sound but it's one I love.
Drab Majesty still #1 Synthpunk icon
Tem muito de Cocteau Twins essa faixa!
Greetings from Brazil!
Earing this walkling through the night alone.... majestic.
First 10 seconds & I already like it 🔥
It’s the sustain in the
Guitar that makes this music awesome, listen people, listen.
I'm so addicted to this song
majesty perfection
💕 this song, how true!
I thought, when I eared "Too soon to tell" for the first time, it was an 80's group I've never eared, which was very curious...
And I discovered Drab Majesty !
Welcome to you, so happy to have this so particular sound in my playlists !
Fan of Clan of Xymox, Ultravox, New Order, OMD etc. you are in now !
Thanks
Roland
i love his lyrics as much as his unique sound !!
Que som magnífico!!! Descobri através do instagram, e corri para ver aqui no you tube.
Deb and the newly added Mona (quite odd , the fact my American shorthair cat shares the name) have just made it clear that this new album will be the only album I will be listening to this year, amongst their friends in the dais alliance Youth code, as well when they release their new album as well, drab majesty is the shit, and they should be heard more totally am a fan, and have big respect for them and youth code, who have the courage and good taste in bringing back to life that old school analog sampled industrial sound back to life again! I gave up on the new generation of music until dais records blessed my ears with these talented people who are on their way to ultimate achievement.
Christopher Martinez i agree...all 80s...DarkWave Industrial
I'd recommend giving a listen to Vandal Moon's latest as well.
Well said
Gros coup de cœur pour ce morceau, le bon son des 80’s ne s’éteindra jamais grâce à des groupes talentueux comme celui-ci….
Hey KoolRockers!!! Saludos desde Lima HERMOSA CANCION ESTILO 80's
GREAT DRAB MAJESTY
part of our stuff
I'm beyond amped for this record.
This video looks like a after party I was at like 20 years ago 🦇🖤
Drab Majesty is my favorite music. I get to see them December 10 live in Los Angeles. The have the best music videos. I love all the lights and literally their sounds are perfect for me.
fell in love with this mystic and deep sound. Thank you!
I never get tired of them, such amazing music
ALUCINANTE. AMAZING!
I love you. Drab Majesty. I love this song
I'm devoted to this Band.
Had to restart the song to sing along! I love it
Another knockout from Drabby!!
I LOVE THIS BAND
I don't understand how more commenters aren't just completely LUSHING over these guys.
Cause, they aren't really that original really, they sound pretty average band for this genre, I guess hipsters are just discovering this music, otherwise I don't get the number of views...
Great music is great music. I don’t get why people are complaining about resurrecting 80s sounds... they were great.
Zenarchy my thoughts exactly.
This band is awesome. I didn't know about them until I watched (Last Call) TVshow. This band sounds incredible, they definitely deserve more.
Love this band so much I’m obsessed. For Everyone who’s saying they just sound like The Cure, I can see the similarity but definitely not The Cure. They heavily based on 80s darkwave but you can still feel the modern tunes without even look at the videos. I have 3 of their albums and soaking up myself with them.
Oh my gosh, it’s like all my loves gathered into one place! I was just commenting on another video that I miss this type of sound 🖤
You dont realize how much i love this Band
I can't stop listening to this! So beautiful!
Counting the days to have the vinyl in my hands.
Rules my life!!!!!
This sounds great!
Welcome to the 80's
You guys are the greatest thing since Depeche Mode. You guys are true musical geniuses, for real, keep it up! Love you guys!
me recuerda a The Frozen Autumn, excelente!!
wow! surprisingly melodically and deep.
I'm in love with this song
Beautiful.... Can't wait to The Demonstration !
It's a fuc**** great album!
Don't you wonder
How it could be
Too soon to tell
Too soon to tell
can't stop listening to this
Drab Majesty and Youth Code should play at Coldwaves Festival in Chicago this year
Youth Code & Drab Majesty would be such a fire show!
That is a phenomenal idea! I'd love to catch Cold Cave at the fest this year also.
The Electrocist this
Drab Majesty is playing Coldwaves this year! Cold Cave is as well.
As is Ohgre...too awesome!
Amo essa música! ♥
Excelent!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
