this game is pretty amazing. just a few things I wish they would change that are really annoying like being able to auto-loot enemies so I don't accidentally throw away my good weapon for their crappy one.
haha i do that so often and don't notice till later and wonder how the hell did i get this weapon.

Chris P The thing I do to help prevent that is stand at the downed enemy’s feet area. Makes it easier to loot them too.
It's the worst isn't it. On console, making the square/x as loot and hold triangle/y should be to pick up a weapon. Holding triangle/y swaps weapons so it makes sense too. So easy to change this very annoying thing.
Chris P I have it in Far Cry 3 too but then if they would make an option screen that says: Are you sure you want to swap your weapon? It would take so long to be done switching and then you can easily be shot.

The starting pistol is straight up my most used weapon. Shits dope.
Actually, shooting an enemy with the sniper to wound them and then using that person to lure out their buddies is a completely feasible and real world tactic employed by snipers.

My favorite thing in far cry 5 is that there is actually bullet physics and post penetration damage to enemies in vehicles
This game is so good. If you are tempted to get it just get it. It's the only triple AAA game in years that not only didn't disappoint me, but it exceeded my expectations.
For me it was AC Origins that exceeded my expectations...also by Ubisoft.
Not gonna spoil anything, but I have a feeling you aren't gonna like the endings. Because myself and lots of others don't :/ again not spoiling

I played Witcher 3. Didn't like it. The combat felt clunky and dragged out to me so I dropped it.

I had so much fun with this game last night. I only got 3 hours of sleep for work today. This is the best Farcry yet and that's really saying something. I'm so excited to keep playing, I haven't even touched the arcade yet and not to mention the DLCs in the future.

Lucky S Arcade mode is pretty fun, when you level up you can earn money for weapons, outfits, and vehicles

it doesn't tell you that the ending to this game is probably the most unsatisfying ending since ME3
Leander It isn’t unsatisfying if you actually read into what it means, and how original and fresh it is than most endings nowadays
SpeedDemon1152 it was certainly an interesting ending, but it was nonetheless unsatisfying.

You can't really SAVE hope county. Either everyone dies or everyone remains oppressed. After spending 10s of hours liberating the county, you don't get the feeling if satisfaction for being the hero. I just wanted a happy ending. I wanted to save the county. I wanted to actually be able to kill joacob seed. But you cant. Making this ending horribly unsatisfying
Leander I do have to agree with you. By no means is it a bad ending but I just got slightly put off. How are you supposed to continue playing the game after watching a nuke go off? Personally it made me feel like it was all a waste of time

also you can throw your melee weapons. Impaling people with a shovel is important and you should try it at least once.

Ubisoft, why would you add so much water in the game if there is only fish that swim in it, it would be way better if you added beavers too, so it's not just fish.

Kyle Sanders I have heard one of the main bosses (the girl I think) can cause you to see animals as humans and vice versa by hallucination. And each main boss has a different area (There are 4 I think)

Pretty much the same as far cry 3 just different story with a bit of primal in its also very repetivite some of its flaws
You can block melee attacks by pressing L2 and R1 when you have your fists equipped. It absorbs like 3/4 damage from attacks melee attacks. Also if you hold down R1 with a melee weapon or your fists you’ll do a power attack that knocks enemies down.
Really enjoying this. I think they dropped the ball on your progression not counting when you’re in co-op mode though.Expecting us to replay every mission on our own session after we do it on a friends is taking the piss. They need to fix this.

poodlemeister22314 yeah I see that point. Just seems a bit weird they haven’t taken the progression system from their other titles and put it into this. Just have an option pop up saying your away to do a bit you haven’t already so you can back out of it. My only gripe with the game though :)

I also upgraded my perks to get the wingsuit, parachute and grapple and didnt know how to use them properly or if i even had them until like 10hrs into the game. The game really immerses you into it so you have to really learn stuff on the fly.
One thing I have is that it seems like there's a low amount of weapons to me. 2 automatic rifles - changing the paint doesn't count as a new weapon, a fee sniper rifles, allot of shotguns and a fee random weapons. Wish there was more. I hope they release a weapon pack or something to add some more to it. Here's hoping lol.
Otherwise, the game itself is ok. Nothing ground breaking.

Story wise, it isnt the strongest farcry. But as far as gameplay goes its damn near flawless

I did not fast travel once in this game. Firstly because i didn't know you could. But also because i just wanted to take my time and travel through the map instead of rushing through the game.
When you have such a lively world as in Far Cry 5, i just didn't see the need for fast travel
U and your 2 followers can fly around in 3 different choppers. This creates some epic moments and is also just really powerful
i like the enemy will help their friend in combat it adds realism

What do they mean if you find a gun you always have It? I can't find another bow but had one earlier where do I get old weapons back
i am guessing there is some sort of menu that lets you choose your equipment, so its probaly available in there.. i dont have the game yet, but that how it usualy works.
I believe if you go to the gun smith and re equip it!

Yeah I just used that haha! The only problem you have to unlock another primary through skill points it’s like 8 skill points so get saving!
Kieran Furzer that's good to hear I'm really enjoying the game and feel I've barely seen anything it has to offer. Best fps in years and years (That isn't doom). Just wish they took out all the zombie and mutant stuff just wanna kill peggies

The “lifting the fog” thing is kind of true. Flying over places will make location markers to fast travel. Say you have to reach an area without transportation and it’s slightly far from the nears location marker, just air drop from a location and flying there.
Game of the year so far. Plays insanely well at 4k ultra no frame drops yet and the flamethrower is so much fun. Great GAME!
Unknown User That flamethrower is absolutely OP for downing any vehicles that drive by. Just crouch in the middle of a long road and proceed to 2-tap annihilate any vehicle into explosion while using barely any ammo. Probably will get patched

Unknown User flamethrower, please, spas 12 flameout with incendiary shells. Sniper range, one shot kill pellets on almost every enemy except flamer heavies (which flamethrower doesn't kill anyway) and you can use it as a normal shotgun with slugs and shells incase your incendiary ones run out.

Another tip the Guns for Hire NPCs can drive for you. Just enter the vehicle, in the passenger sit, mark one location in the map an turn on "autopilot". It's really useful.
I just want to know what John Seed whispered to Nick Rye in the church before cutting the "greed" scar off his chest.
I assumed John threatened to kill or harm his wife and unborn child if he doesn't give in. But that's just speculation.

Highly recommend the game, besides some sloppy writing with some quests. Because it's a "choose your path adventure" sometimes there are big continuity errors... but overall, still love it.

Honestly this is the best Farcry game out of all I have played. Thats 3 through Primal. They really went all out on this one. Only a few complaints but other than that 5/5.
You can open a new area when flying by landing in the blacked out area and a small area will open up!
Picking up the gun and unlocking it is handy,I remember you had to use up all the ammo in the gun you picked up to unlock it for free

you can hitch a trailer by backing a truck up to it. not sure if it works with other vehicles
you can uncover the map with the helicopter, however you must occasionally land in the area and exit the chopper to uncover the area
No you have to step out the helicopter every few hundred yards to uncover the fog of war from the map

Fast travel doesn't only work with land vehicles, I have done it multiple time with the helecopter

thanks for telling us this unknown tips, where can i find a flamethrower for free in game, if there is one? i really like the game but i wish the deputy u play with was in third person mode and he or she can speak to people like in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and what bout being kidnapped by one of the joseph seed members during or after a cutscene or after liberation of some cult buildings, is that something that we can turn off or we can’t ? twice i have been kidnapped by some of John seed members after doing a random mission that i picked, and you can’t skip or quit the mission, does this happen in all the previous far cry games before this one, if so why would they throw it into the game without warning?

I don't think the game needs to tell you that guy writhing around in pain on the floor with multiple bullet wounds and a ticking hp bar is wounded.

fast travel for air vehicles also work, I did it with a chopper once.
It will not work in most place thou,tried Fall End and lost my UH1
that I don't know, the only time I fast travelled in a chopper was from a road in faith region to the prison resistance base.

For the first one I always just have my guard driving and me and the other guard sit in the passenger seats so I can use a rifle and not worry about crashing

Knowing about picking up the weapons saves so much money but it really is just standard tier guns you still have to buy most
Just go fishing/hunting or hunt down the treasure hunting spots around the map. If you do that money won't be a problem anymore.
John Seed and Whitehorse have the same exact face, just different hair and facial hair. Found out from the special outfits.
