No bow?! I personaly love the bow. I use it as a sniper, because it really good at long range, but also short range. Perfect for stealth camp takeovers
I take MAC-11 as my sidearm from the enemy. Then as the game progress, I equipped it with Red Dot Sight and silencer, and keep it on "single-fire only" mode (press V) and in emergency I let it to go "full auto". It's the best sidearm aside from Colt 1911.
I'm a silent player.... always choosing weapons with firearms with silencers so I can almost clear a outpost without even being detected (especially with Boomer and/or Peaches as companion/s). The slingshot virtually replaces bows as you can fire arrows with the slingshot too and rocks can be fired to distract enemies, but IMO weighed against a silent assault rifle or sniper rifle it doesn't stack up. Only *loud* weapon is the guided rocket launcher for planes, choppers and property vehicles trying to flee.
Totally agree about Grace. She's a little slower about taking down mobs than Hurk and Jess in my opinion, but she doesn't kill hostages like Hurk lol. But Hurk is soooo good at taking out planes. He's a Cheat imo.

SPAS-12 is one of my favorites. SPAS-12 with range extender scope and slug ammo is a decent mid-range sniper. For vehicle destruction the incendiary shells are the fastest method outside of explosive throwables or launchers. The most versatile weapon in the game is handily the bow though. It can function as a mid-long range weapon, a molotov with incendiary ammo, or a launcher with explosive arrows. Not much more satisfying than taking down a plane or helicopter with a lowly bow.
Why havent games yet improved the dying mechanics...I mean people and animals still die and fall like stuffed dummies ....I want to see some gravity and blood splatters etc in future games

Recurve Bow: if you do enough hunting, being stealthy, and never having to worry about ammo, then the bow is a solid choice. You get double the skins than if you were to use a gun, you can almost always pick up your arrows afterwards, it doesn’t need any additional attachments- other than your sights, and you can shoot either explosive or fire arrows to take out vehicle or heavies to short work of your enemies.
My favourite has to be the premium Lever-Action Rifle with the sawed-off on pistol slot. You will feel like an absolute badass playing with those, and I did half the game.
The M60 with scope and silencer is amazing. Easy to get early and kills everything. Silencer is not completely silent but it doesn't give you position away, so stealth missions still complete fine. The power plus round count keeps you shooting. My goto.
I'm a stealth player and I mostly use the MS16 as a close range DMR, the SA50 as my sniper, the recurve bow (probably will change, and the grenade launcher for vehicles. MS16 is the boss. The SA50 has the power, but the MS16 Trooper my favorite.
Honestly, I just got the 45/70 T, and oh boy is that thing a cannon. I like to prioritize stealth, but always resort to a hold out point when things get messy. This gun does sniping and medium range really well and can often times just straight 1 shot guys. Combine it with an LMG and I might be in heaven
Haven't seen anyone mention the 45/70 lever action rifles, those things are lethal, one shot to most places on the body and just fun the use with a suppressor and optical scope!
My basic loadout as a semi-stealth player in endgame with all the slots unlocked: Silenced SA-50 LMG with optic sight for when things get messy RAT4 for those ambush situations Silenced Pistol or SMG with a red dot sight for those close sneaky shenanigans It's a pretty good balance imo.
AK-M w/ Extended Mag and Red Dot Sight (no silencer) SA50 w/ Scope, Extended Mag, and Silencer RAT-4 w/ Scope 1911 w/ Extended Mag and Silencer Silenced 1911 for close to mid range silent assassinations, also being able to do silent chain take-downs from a range is incredibly useful. Especially when you want to clear an outpost and you need to take-down 3 guys that are fairly close to each other all at once if you don't want to get caught. RAT-4 because in this game you NEED something that fires explosives to deal with the pesky enemy aircraft and the hoards of enemy vehicles on the road. The laser-guide and lock-on pretty much takes the thought out of needing to predict the path the of the target. Silenced SA50 for mid to long range silent assassinations. The semi-auto makes it easy to correct your mistakes quickly before you get caught, it's good for hunting since it takes down most animals in one hit, and it's also pretty decent for dealing with aircraft if you don't have the RAT-4 yet. AK-M has a slower fire rate than the AR-C which actually helps to group your shots better. The higher damage means less ammo needed to kill one guy so it'll save you money in the long run. You already have two weapons that cover the close-mid-long range silent assassinations so you don't need to deal with the draw-backs of using a silencer on the AK-M. Just switch to this weapon when things get hairy. You could use an LMG over the AK-M which would probably be the superior option for most, but I prefer not to use LMGs in general out of personal preference.
I agree with everything except the 1911. I would replace it with either a D2 shotgun or a 44 magnum. You can perch on a cliff and pick off snipers and whatnot with the silenced SA-50, then go down and do takedowns on some other guys. When it gets loud you use the AKM to wipe out big groups of enemies, and the D2 to clean up any last cultists.
Until I unlocked the AK-MS, this was my go to rifle. Marksman scope, and a silencer. Close to medium range, it wrecks. If you're a good shot, it can also stand in for a sniper if you want to carry a launcher or LMG as well.
My problem with prestige weapons is that if it has a counterpart with the same stats, all it is a reskin. For me, it's not worth paying for and many of the skins are garish destroying the astethic.
I have a 1911 with a suppressor, a reflex sight and extended mag. And I use that as a primary weapon. Its sooo good and if your aim is good you can 1 shot most enemies in the head. And since its silent you can clear out outposts in less than 5 minutes
I generally hate machine guns. Assault rifles and Sniper rifles with silencers are my goto weapons in this game. I liberated every single outpost on hard difficultly using pure stealth.
My typical load out was a mix of stealth and loud: 1st slot: Recurve bow (compound until unlocked): For stealth and hunting. Black market perk is a must to get incendiary and explosive arrows (along with the perk that upgrades carrying capacity) Plus you can pick up your normal arrows so ammo is never an issue. 2nd slot: SPAS-12 (M133 until spas is unlocked), I don't run suppressors only extended magazine and a reflex sight. Again black market perk for slugs and incendiary shells. I've noticed incendiary shells are very effective at strafing aircraft, the fire will spread to the pilot, who will ditch the plane and usually die on impact. Slugs are just fun because they send enemies flying back, also good against heavies in a pinch. 3rd slot/starting weapon: AR-C suppressed, red-dot sight, and extended magazine. Typically I run it on burst fire, the three shots at mid to short range tend to drop an enemy (unless its a heavy but switch to Armor Piercing and you melt them too). Sidearm: Gotta go with the M1911, I love the gun in real life and it's an American Classic. I'm pretty good with just the iron sights, but I tend to keep in suppressed and equipped with an extended magazine. For melee weapons: Optimism/shovel. My secondary melee doesn't matter because spearing enemies with shovels is the best. But I like to pick up the hoes the angels tend to be carrying, no clue on their stats, just like having some gardening tools in my kit suppose.
One of my favourites is the D2 “Sin Eater” sawed-off shotgun. I don’t know why I love it so much, but anyone who comes near me when I have it equipped gets absolutely fucked
I go for what I call the stealth+overkill method. Silenced sniper, recurve bow, shotgun with a silencer, and a grenade launcher in my handgun slot. Usually don't get detected, but an incendiary grenade is ready at all times as a backup.
An so happy the AS-50 made it back from Far Cry 2. Another favorite weapon I love to see return from that game is the USAS-12. A full automatic shotgun. That puppy just mows'em down!

Canadian Panda I have a slightly different loadout for every far cry game but they're all similar. In Far Cry 5 I have 1. LMG w/ silencer 2. Recurve Bow 3. Sniper w/ silencer 4. Pistol w/ silencer LMG to go loud if I need while also staying relatively quiet, bow for those mid range silence kills and hunting, sniper for extra long range silence kills and the pistol for the close range stealth kills when I'm too far to make a takedown.

I rolled the same loadout as you for this game and most farcrys till recently . but just think aboot it. Collapse what you really need. Pistol? no not really. A nice silenced pistol is only good for side armed stealth combos.. Combine the pistol and shotgun. Take the sawn off double barrel in the pistol slot. Close range is now handled. Assault Rifle? always key, good all around, keep. A bow with explosive ammo can handle vehicles, and without explosive ammo is your stealth weapon. I guess you can rotate either the 2 bows or the slingshot. Then final slot is really up to you. thats the beauty of the build... everything is pretty much covered. LMG for when shit hits the fan? Launcher? Sniper? Flamethrower? idk.. i used to roll like you. I love the 44. Mag and I love shotties, especially the SPAS. But ive had way more luck with the build I've told ya. Its always good to have a bow cause you get double animal skins from beast kills used without bullets. More money=more everything. Goodluck my friend.
I personably use AR-C. It has 3 fire modes so can also be a sniper if needed with a sniper scope. Has a naturally larger magazine than its AR-CL counterpart. And if you have many enemies the burst or full auto has low recoil and quite a decent bit of damage. Best paired with silencer for obvious reasons
Bow with fire and explosive arrows. Normal arrows for stealth and hunting. Fire for armored LMG enemies as they're not fire-proof. Explosive arrows for vehicles, helicopters and planes. Chuck a scope on it for better range and accuracy too. It's the ultimate weapon. Also try out a 1911 with piercing ammo and an extended clip. Most guys go down in 1-2 shots and it makes you feel like John Wick. It's awesome!
My load out: Magnum 44 cannon, M-79, SA-50 silenced, and the MP40 silenced with specialists Grace Armstrong and either Nick Rye or Adelaide Drubman. You can pretty much breeze through missions like this. I haven’t played in awhile, but the the magnum was OP and was a 1 or 2 shot from any range. After I got better, the sniper became my primary weapon.
My general loadout is: -SPAS-12 -Bow/RAT4 -AKMS/M249/M60 -1911/Skorpion SPAS is for close-medium range, the bow is for stealth and versatility with the fire and explosive arrows, RAT4 is for when I need some dedicated heavy explosive weaponry, AK-MS is my workhorse until I get either the M249 or M60, and my sidearm is either the 1911 at first, then the Skorpion. I also use the shovel for melee, because why would I use anything else?

Definitely a stealth player who likes to get up close and personal with the bad guys. My ultimate loadout is the 1911 Shark with a suppressor loaded with armor piercing rounds, The Free State suppressed SA 50 also loaded with AP rounds and incendiary rounds, the MG42 loaded with AP, and recently the Vector .45 ACP with a suppressor and AP rounds. I have lots of throwable explosives so don't need rocket launchers or RPGs and the MG42 is very capable of taking out helis and planes. I can kill them up close silently or from a great distance silently, my favorite, with the suppressed guns. One shot one kill from a distance then move and shoot again to keep them guessing or move in silently and one shot to the back of the head with my 1911 gets er done. Checking my loadout just now I found a bunch of new weapons from the three DLC are now available in the regular game. I did not know that so thanks to this video I discovered them.
Pistols: Suppressed 1911 or D50 Rifles: AK-MS Whitetailer or 45/70 Falls Ghost Shotguns: M133 Grand Slam Snipers: Free State Launchers: Rat 4 Melee: Shovel or Aluminium Bat
Having played new game plus twice now, my list for true late-game power: 1. Rat-4. This thing is just a must have over everything else. All those planes, trucks, heli's... 2. Vector .45acp with piercing rounds kills so fast, that you can kill 5 dudes in 1 sec if they are close to eachother. 3. D50 pistol with piercing rounds does more damage than the strongest sniper rifle. This thing blows up a car in 3 shots and any heavy in 2 body shots. It's insane. 4. Mg42 with piercing rounds is crazy expensive to use. But its just a laser with high damage and high fire rate. Put those special rounds in it and it's broken. 5 45-70 T. It's an assault rifle, with a little less dmg than the strongest sniper rifle, but with more ammo, faster shots, same aiming, less reloading and same range. After using this snipers feel useless
Sawn off shotgun and bow. The bow can be used as a main weapon if you remember you dont have to aim down the sight and it's much more fun than using a gun. The sawn off will kill bears with one shot.
The prestige golden 1911 with a suppressor equipped is a must for anyone who loves doing headshots in style. In general the 1911 is probably the strongest handgun with good damage, accuracy, and mag capacity.
That's very close to my loadout now. I'm using the M60 with the top scope. Hold breath, and the first 2 shots are as effective as a sniper rifle. The rest is pretty much the same, except I use the tactical scope on the AK-MS. Silencers on everything that accepts them. Grenade launcher mostly for pesky choppers and truckloads of peggies.
The bow is the most versatile weapon in the game. When you get the perk that lets you get incendiary and explosive arrows it can do everything from silent sniping and close combat to destroying vehicles not to mention one shotting armored guys too.. one flame arrow to kill a LMG heavy and one normal arrow to the gas tank for flamethrower guys. Hands down it’s the best weapon in the game if you know how to use it
I used the bow and arrow primarily so i could conserve ammo until i found the magnopulser late in the game. I also used the rat4, one of the LMGs, the sin eater shotgun, the cannon magnum, and the meme shovels.
While the overall game is fun...the gun variation is pathetic. You have no signature guns with 6 (yes 6) 1911 pistols that all have the EXACT same stats. America, we don't have a good gun selection.
Yeah, I hated that part of it as well. Same with the planes and helos...all basically the same with different paint...I think the programmers were either lazy or the game was rushed to market before they could add in other weapon options as well as the add-on options like the scope...6 scopes, but only 3 levels of improved sighting.
Yes, it's quite disappointing that there's no point buying everything in the long run. 2-handed SMGs are a total waste of a category too. Why would I let them eat up a weapon slot when there are so many better weapons? Machine pistol in the sidearm slot until I get my perk points, then put SMGs to rest entirely.
You can go through the entire game with the bow and arrows. Incindiary and explosive ammo. Try using the range finder in the binoculars to get a distance to target then the upgraded scope to dial in your arrow drop. If you get good, you can snipe targets off from 200 feet or so and marvel at your shot when you pull the arrow out of their chest.
Just so you guys know: The ar-cl is terrible. It’s inaccurate, and blows threw tons of ammo way too fast. I recommend the modern ak-ms. More accurate, more damage, lower fire rate for better control.
As a stealth player... my preferred weapons are... Suppressed M60, with long range scope Suppressed 1911, with red dot & extended mag Recurve bow, with marksman sight Rat4
For those wondering what are the best PvP weapons, here is the list: the MG42, the Vector, the AR-C, Spas-12, MP5, 45-70, M79, Dragunov, SA50, Desert Eagle. Since you die and kill from 1 headshot, these weapons with high ROF are going do decimate your enemies. The MP5 manages to be one of the top guns because how accurate is, it is even better than the AKM because of this.
the suppressed .308 rifle with the best sniper scope is amazing for silent long range, and i also use the suppressed MP5 for CQB. for loud i have the P226, and the ACR with extended mag, marksman sight.
I use the "free state", "warrior" and the "flameout" aswell as the "big spender" all maxed but the warrior has the 2nd best scope. Works amazingly, I rarely get detected/die.

Most of the melee weapons are *silent* and not a load of difference between them IMO.
Im also a silent player, but i use Jess and Peaches. They are the two best for stealth in my opinion.
If you have Hurk and Jess, the banter between the 2 is hilarious. also, you almost don't need a gun because these guys are a wrecking crew.

IMO, the only way to really stealth is Bow and Arrow, stealth melee kill, and an accasional pistol with a silencer.
Stealth is ultimately just avoiding detection so it doesn't really matter how you avoid detection.

Honestly, I just got the 45/70 T, and oh boy is that thing a cannon. I like to prioritize stealth, but always resort to a hold out point when things get messy. This gun does sniping and medium range really well and can often times just straight 1 shot guys. Combine it with an LMG and I might be in heaven

Haven't seen anyone mention the 45/70 lever action rifles, those things are lethal, one shot to most places on the body and just fun the use with a suppressor and optical scope!
My basic loadout as a semi-stealth player in endgame with all the slots unlocked:
Silenced SA-50
LMG with optic sight for when things get messy
RAT4 for those ambush situations
Silenced Pistol or SMG with a red dot sight for those close sneaky shenanigans
It's a pretty good balance imo.
AK-M w/ Extended Mag and Red Dot Sight (no silencer)

Silenced 1911 for close to mid range silent assassinations, also being able to do silent chain take-downs from a range is incredibly useful. Especially when you want to clear an outpost and you need to take-down 3 guys that are fairly close to each other all at once if you don't want to get caught.
RAT-4 because in this game you NEED something that fires explosives to deal with the pesky enemy aircraft and the hoards of enemy vehicles on the road. The laser-guide and lock-on pretty much takes the thought out of needing to predict the path the of the target.
Silenced SA50 for mid to long range silent assassinations. The semi-auto makes it easy to correct your mistakes quickly before you get caught, it's good for hunting since it takes down most animals in one hit, and it's also pretty decent for dealing with aircraft if you don't have the RAT-4 yet.
AK-M has a slower fire rate than the AR-C which actually helps to group your shots better. The higher damage means less ammo needed to kill one guy so it'll save you money in the long run. You already have two weapons that cover the close-mid-long range silent assassinations so you don't need to deal with the draw-backs of using a silencer on the AK-M. Just switch to this weapon when things get hairy. You could use an LMG over the AK-M which would probably be the superior option for most, but I prefer not to use LMGs in general out of personal preference.
I agree with everything except the 1911. I would replace it with either a D2 shotgun or a 44 magnum. You can perch on a cliff and pick off snipers and whatnot with the silenced SA-50, then go down and do takedowns on some other guys. When it gets loud you use the AKM to wipe out big groups of enemies, and the D2 to clean up any last cultists.

My fave overall is the SBS “the farmhand” I use it so much I run out of ammo quickly. The incendiary and slug rounds.
MS16 Trooper is my favorite
Until I unlocked the AK-MS, this was my go to rifle. Marksman scope, and a silencer. Close to medium range, it wrecks. If you're a good shot, it can also stand in for a sniper if you want to carry a launcher or LMG as well.

My problem with prestige weapons is that if it has a counterpart with the same stats, all it is a reskin. For me, it's not worth paying for and many of the skins are garish destroying the astethic.

I have a 1911 with a suppressor, a reflex sight and extended mag. And I use that as a primary weapon. Its sooo good and if your aim is good you can 1 shot most enemies in the head. And since its silent you can clear out outposts in less than 5 minutes
I generally hate machine guns. Assault rifles and Sniper rifles with silencers are my goto weapons in this game. I liberated every single outpost on hard difficultly using pure stealth.
This game is a total joke on Hard, let alone on any other difficulty
i am a more guns blazeing kinda guy.. never liked stealth much in farcry.. i always run with pistols and assault rifles and a shit ton of explosives
My typical load out was a mix of stealth and loud:
1st slot: Recurve bow (compound until unlocked): For stealth and hunting. Black market perk is a must to get incendiary and explosive arrows (along with the perk that upgrades carrying capacity) Plus you can pick up your normal arrows so ammo is never an issue.
2nd slot: SPAS-12 (M133 until spas is unlocked), I don't run suppressors only extended magazine and a reflex sight. Again black market perk for slugs and incendiary shells. I've noticed incendiary shells are very effective at strafing aircraft, the fire will spread to the pilot, who will ditch the plane and usually die on impact. Slugs are just fun because they send enemies flying back, also good against heavies in a pinch.
3rd slot/starting weapon: AR-C suppressed, red-dot sight, and extended magazine. Typically I run it on burst fire, the three shots at mid to short range tend to drop an enemy (unless its a heavy but switch to Armor Piercing and you melt them too).
Sidearm: Gotta go with the M1911, I love the gun in real life and it's an American Classic. I'm pretty good with just the iron sights, but I tend to keep in suppressed and equipped with an extended magazine.
For melee weapons: Optimism/shovel. My secondary melee doesn't matter because spearing enemies with shovels is the best. But I like to pick up the hoes the angels tend to be carrying, no clue on their stats, just like having some gardening tools in my kit suppose.
One of my favourites is the D2 “Sin Eater” sawed-off shotgun. I don’t know why I love it so much, but anyone who comes near me when I have it equipped gets absolutely fucked
I go for what I call the stealth+overkill method. Silenced sniper, recurve bow, shotgun with a silencer, and a grenade launcher in my handgun slot. Usually don't get detected, but an incendiary grenade is ready at all times as a backup.
The MG42 is the best Light Machine Gun.
That 50 cal. Sniper is my go-to. Outposts are a breeze with it especially once you have a silencer on it
The best gun set in my opinion, is AK-47, bow, Rat4 and sin eater.
An so happy the AS-50 made it back from Far Cry 2. Another favorite weapon I love to see return from that game is the USAS-12. A full automatic shotgun. That puppy just mows'em down!

Canadian Panda I have a slightly different loadout for every far cry game but they're all similar. In Far Cry 5 I have
1. LMG w/ silencer
2. Recurve Bow
3. Sniper w/ silencer
4. Pistol w/ silencer
LMG to go loud if I need while also staying relatively quiet, bow for those mid range silence kills and hunting, sniper for extra long range silence kills and the pistol for the close range stealth kills when I'm too far to make a takedown.

I rolled the same loadout as you for this game and most farcrys till recently . but just think aboot it. Collapse what you really need. Pistol? no not really. A nice silenced pistol is only good for side armed stealth combos.. Combine the pistol and shotgun. Take the sawn off double barrel in the pistol slot. Close range is now handled. Assault Rifle? always key, good all around, keep. A bow with explosive ammo can handle vehicles, and without explosive ammo is your stealth weapon. I guess you can rotate either the 2 bows or the slingshot. Then final slot is really up to you. thats the beauty of the build... everything is pretty much covered. LMG for when shit hits the fan? Launcher? Sniper? Flamethrower? idk.. i used to roll like you. I love the 44. Mag and I love shotties, especially the SPAS. But ive had way more luck with the build I've told ya. Its always good to have a bow cause you get double animal skins from beast kills used without bullets. More money=more everything. Goodluck my friend.

If you have the Vietnam DLC, my favorite is the M16 A1. Put a suppressor on that and the marksman scope, you’re set.

I personably use AR-C. It has 3 fire modes so can also be a sniper if needed with a sniper scope. Has a naturally larger magazine than its AR-CL counterpart. And if you have many enemies the burst or full auto has low recoil and quite a decent bit of damage. Best paired with silencer for obvious reasons
Bruh RAT4 is so sick. Its my favorite so far.
Bow with fire and explosive arrows. Normal arrows for stealth and hunting. Fire for armored LMG enemies as they're not fire-proof. Explosive arrows for vehicles, helicopters and planes. Chuck a scope on it for better range and accuracy too. It's the ultimate weapon. Also try out a 1911 with piercing ammo and an extended clip. Most guys go down in 1-2 shots and it makes you feel like John Wick. It's awesome!
The other rocket launcher, it's the RPG you know, just a more modern version than the last three.

My load out: Magnum 44 cannon, M-79, SA-50 silenced, and the MP40 silenced with specialists Grace Armstrong and either Nick Rye or Adelaide Drubman.
You can pretty much breeze through missions like this. I haven’t played in awhile, but the the magnum was OP and was a 1 or 2 shot from any range. After I got better, the sniper became my primary weapon.
My loadout: spas 12 flameout,rat4,and big hunter compound bow.
My general loadout is:
-SPAS-12
-Bow/RAT4
-AKMS/M249/M60
-1911/Skorpion
SPAS is for close-medium range, the bow is for stealth and versatility with the fire and explosive arrows, RAT4 is for when I need some dedicated heavy explosive weaponry, AK-MS is my workhorse until I get either the M249 or M60, and my sidearm is either the 1911 at first, then the Skorpion. I also use the shovel for melee, because why would I use anything else?

Definitely a stealth player who likes to get up close and personal with the bad guys. My ultimate loadout is the 1911 Shark with a suppressor loaded with armor piercing rounds, The Free State suppressed SA 50 also loaded with AP rounds and incendiary rounds, the MG42 loaded with AP, and recently the Vector .45 ACP with a suppressor and AP rounds. I have lots of throwable explosives so don't need rocket launchers or RPGs and the MG42 is very capable of taking out helis and planes. I can kill them up close silently or from a great distance silently, my favorite, with the suppressed guns. One shot one kill from a distance then move and shoot again to keep them guessing or move in silently and one shot to the back of the head with my 1911 gets er done. Checking my loadout just now I found a bunch of new weapons from the three DLC are now available in the regular game. I did not know that so thanks to this video I discovered them.

Having played new game plus twice now, my list for true late-game power:
1. Rat-4. This thing is just a must have over everything else. All those planes, trucks, heli's...
2. Vector .45acp with piercing rounds kills so fast, that you can kill 5 dudes in 1 sec if they are close to eachother.
3. D50 pistol with piercing rounds does more damage than the strongest sniper rifle. This thing blows up a car in 3 shots and any heavy in 2 body shots. It's insane.
4. Mg42 with piercing rounds is crazy expensive to use. But its just a laser with high damage and high fire rate. Put those special rounds in it and it's broken.
5 45-70 T. It's an assault rifle, with a little less dmg than the strongest sniper rifle, but with more ammo, faster shots, same aiming, less reloading and same range. After using this snipers feel useless

Sawn off shotgun and bow. The bow can be used as a main weapon if you remember you dont have to aim down the sight and it's much more fun than using a gun. The sawn off will kill bears with one shot.

The prestige golden 1911 with a suppressor equipped is a must for anyone who loves doing headshots in style. In general the 1911 is probably the strongest handgun with good damage, accuracy, and mag capacity.
AK-MS with Reflex sight and silencer + MagnoPulser + M249 with Ranged Hunter sight and silencer + Grenade launcher = op in any situation.
That's very close to my loadout now. I'm using the M60 with the top scope. Hold breath, and the first 2 shots are as effective as a sniper rifle. The rest is pretty much the same, except I use the tactical scope on the AK-MS. Silencers on everything that accepts them. Grenade launcher mostly for pesky choppers and truckloads of peggies.
The bow is the most versatile weapon in the game. When you get the perk that lets you get incendiary and explosive arrows it can do everything from silent sniping and close combat to destroying vehicles not to mention one shotting armored guys too.. one flame arrow to kill a LMG heavy and one normal arrow to the gas tank for flamethrower guys. Hands down it’s the best weapon in the game if you know how to use it

I used the bow and arrow primarily so i could conserve ammo until i found the magnopulser late in the game. I also used the rat4, one of the LMGs, the sin eater shotgun, the cannon magnum, and the meme shovels.

Nah, far cry 4 was just a straight copy of far cry 3 (which were both really good) but far cry 5 is different and good in its own way.

While the overall game is fun...the gun variation is pathetic. You have no signature guns with 6 (yes 6) 1911 pistols that all have the EXACT same stats. America, we don't have a good gun selection.
Yeah, I hated that part of it as well. Same with the planes and helos...all basically the same with different paint...I think the programmers were either lazy or the game was rushed to market before they could add in other weapon options as well as the add-on options like the scope...6 scopes, but only 3 levels of improved sighting.
Yes, it's quite disappointing that there's no point buying everything in the long run. 2-handed SMGs are a total waste of a category too. Why would I let them eat up a weapon slot when there are so many better weapons? Machine pistol in the sidearm slot until I get my perk points, then put SMGs to rest entirely.
You can go through the entire game with the bow and arrows. Incindiary and explosive ammo.
Try using the range finder in the binoculars to get a distance to target then the upgraded scope to dial in your arrow drop. If you get good, you can snipe targets off from 200 feet or so and marvel at your shot when you pull the arrow out of their chest.
The M60 is the best weapon.

The ar-cl is terrible. It’s inaccurate, and blows threw tons of ammo way too fast. I recommend the modern ak-ms. More accurate, more damage, lower fire rate for better control.

For those wondering what are the best PvP weapons, here is the list:
the MG42, the Vector, the AR-C, Spas-12, MP5, 45-70, M79, Dragunov, SA50, Desert Eagle.
Since you die and kill from 1 headshot, these weapons with high ROF are going do decimate your enemies.
The MP5 manages to be one of the top guns because how accurate is, it is even better than the AKM because of this.

Vector and P226, both suppressed. Usually I use the RPG-7 in addition and Old Flame 308. But I also sometimes use AK-47M suppressed.
It would have been Great to have a Mini Nuke Launcher like Fallout 4 as an Easter Egg!
the suppressed .308 rifle with the best sniper scope is amazing for silent long range, and i also use the suppressed MP5 for CQB. for loud i have the P226, and the ACR with extended mag, marksman sight.

I use the "free state", "warrior" and the "flameout" aswell as the "big spender" all maxed but the warrior has the 2nd best scope. Works amazingly, I rarely get detected/die.
