I have a 2010 yaris it was going fine i parked for about a half hour went to restart and it wouldn't run it kida started but as soon as i touch the gas it dies i spray starter fliud and it runs good for about 15 seconds but again touch the gas and it died

My mustang 2010 only starts if I press the gas pedal but it dies if I let go of the gas pedal .

You forgot about IAC valve and MAP sensor. They also cause engine stumble

What if you cant keep the engine running to fully perform diagnosis....to pin point problem using scan tool?
Check for codes. Check for spark, fuel, bad engine sensor and vacuum leak. Once up and running continue diagnosing.
Can a stopped up catalytic converter do this also?
Yes it can if it's clogged

I have a f150 5.0 and when I press on the gas it shakes bad then turns off

Mine did this yesterday at a light and wouldnt start again i assume its the fuel pump
