Appreciate the tips my 97 4Runner had me lost for a while. On acc power I could hear a constant clicking, and when I removed the efi relay it stopped which lead me to think a fuel injector was stuck and your hydrolock comment just verified my thoughts
Im currently fixing my 08 f250 and the fuel system is pretty shot. Its only getting about 8 miles per gallon according to the math. Ive learned alot about fuel systems thanks to this video and others. Super helpful and informative

Such an amazing video exactly what’s been going on my Kia put plugs coil packs and wires on it cleaned the mass air flow sensor been all over but it doesn’t have a schrader valve so I’ve been questioning my injectors and I’ve pulled my plugs back out and they were full soaked and I’ve put a regulator on it and cleaned the pump up but very very informative video 👍👍

Just got an p2 town and country it cranks no start. But I found if I hold the gas pedal down then crank 3 or 5 times it starts and I can do this every time. I did tune up and valve co ergaskets and pcv egr iac and throttlebody cleaning same issue. When u mention wet plugs I will pull the front ones since I can't reach the back 3 and see if they are wet before holding the pedal down. If wet then your mention of stuck open injectors.

please help me. its a 2009 HONDA ACCORD 2.4L. check engine light on , VSA on high negative fuel trims -18ST and -19LT. DTC is P0341. I have done timing chain and tensioner, change spark plugs, fuel pump and regulator, cam sensors replaced also coils

Thanks alot - i suspect i have bad injectors, i constantly see puddles right under the injectors.. - i checked my plug cylinder 3, it gets wet and black after a while - also, as im driving for about 30mins.....my car loses power....heavy, on an incline i can forget it....she wont move....it goes extremely slow causing cars behind me to hoooooot lol. yeah try replacing your seals on the injectors most of the time its the seals not the actual injector

So I have no Schrader valve. Ford f150. Put in pressure gage at fuel filter. It builds pressure to 40 and holds till you start it, then pressure drops to zero and death ensues.
Keep in mind, I already changed the pump, filter, and pressure regulator so those are not the problem.
How can I diagnose which injector is faulty when it won't run?
Pull the fuel rail and crank the engine with the fuel injectors spraying into plastic bottles

What if you have one injector leaking, one injector almost plugged, and the rest of them with flakes of scale inside turning on and off and leaking and stopping intermittently?

What if fuel is contaminating the engine oil? Can injectors oversupply fuel, Also has higher than normal fuel consumption.

Usually if your running oug rich ur car will have black smoke coming out from exhaust
Try half a litre of two stroke oil in half a tank of diesel this can lube the injector I use a litre a month if you have a dpf then use quarter of a litre to half a tank of diesel
1/2 gallon of mineral spirits to 5 gal non ethanol premium fuel. Works like a champ too

P0300 code replaced coils an plugs helped for awhile now ita running ruff again ideil ruff take off sucks an is kindda boggy
So one of your fuel injectors is the problem? Did you check with a mechanic shop?
I did the same thing, they told me to get the faulty fuel injector replaced.
Going to take the fuel injector to shop, I'll find out later today if they resolve the issue with it.
And it will cause a p420 code causing a panic .

wrong.......white smoke is oil and black smoke is fuel.
It all depends on the smell and symptoms really. Black smoke can happen when there is a rich condition and it is still ignitable meaning there’s no misfire. White smoke can happen when the fuel is not ignited properly causing a misfire. White smoke can also be oil or coolant burning.

My car would blow white smoke,,it was the fuel injector staying open,,filled my motor oil with gas. So actually sometimes white smoke is fuel. Smart guy.
