    Wow - that's a really impressive build! You even have both sets of yokes and rudder pedals linked. This is a home sim dream setup. Everything looks authentic.

    • @r3ady150

      No thee dream build is the one were the guy action bought a b737 cockpit and making it were every switch actually works in the simulator.

      @@r3ady150 I saw that video! I joked with my wife that I wasn't thinking big enough with my home flight sim setup. I think she was worried.

      Pretty much, except for the extra space but that's a plus. I probably wouldn't fit in a real Cessna but I would fit in this

    This is fantastic! It belongs in the FBOs at local GA flight schools! All you need now, is some salvaged parts for the doors, ceiling, and floor, and you're all set. Nice pattern work, by the way! Thanks for sharing this. :)

    reminds me of the movie Vita with the super Pilatus sim. My son and I were lusting after that one! One interesting thing, with real flying, one does not keep the yoke twisted after setting up the turn. Ailerons are nearly neutral and elevator/rudder controls take over. Good job!! Pilot there did a great job, also.

  • @bryanholland6987

    Nice. I have my system integrated to be dexterically accurate to the F-16 CM Bl. 50 cockpit. So, it doesn't look or feel like an F-16 until you put the headset on and then it's all there. I love doing this stuff.

  • @NandyDagondon
    @NandyDagondon ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Very impressive setup. I've been in a 6DOF A320 and Cessna 172 Level-D full motion simulators, this cockpit and the display is very immersive. The panel is awesome. The only thing lacking is the motion platform. The seamless outer display can only be delivered by a projection system with a curved screen.

    I would recommend not using trim in the landing phase. I get that it helps, I did it early on in my training, but at that phase you should really be power idle, lest hand on yoke and right hand on throttle ready to go around if need be.

    I was impressed with the build. You need to share your setup. Only a couple of things, 1 you only got to 500 feet and 2 where was the base leg. Rectangle circuit, not oval. Unless you are landing on an aircraft carrier. All in all quiet good. Thank you

    Looks like they actually used a 172 cabin/cockpit as a starting point. I'll bet that's easier than I used to think, due to all the abandoned ships out there waiting to be exploited.
