Maybe it's just me, but I find the videos where you can look or move around even just a little bit far more entertaining than ones where you do nothing but guess on a single picture. I like seeing you navigate the roads, figure out where the sun is, and hunt for license plates and signs, but with these rules, it rarely happens.

Honestly, found this channel less than a few weeks ago when one of your vids popped up on my "recommended for you section." Hadn't ever heard of Geoguessr but figured I'd have a look anyway.
Since then, I've basically binged all the play-alongs and taught myself the game; so was bummed to realize that you cut down on those (the other stuff has been good too tho). Glad to see it back, hoping we get a play-along sometime soon too!
Figured I'd still try and guess the country from this vid before you guessed though.
R1 - Saw those trees, instantly thought Scandanavia for some reason. Don't really know the sign coloration and stuff, saw white+red, would've guessed Denmark. 100% know I'd have gotten a 0 lol
R2 - Saw East Asian houses, lots of greenery, but for reason didn't think of it to be super tropical. Figured it was Thailand; would've probably guessed somewhere inland, so Vientiane is actually pretty close lol
R3 - Completely botched it. Saw the Arabic on the side of the road, but thought it was Hebrew. Inland Israel would've been my guess, yikes
R4 - Got an Alps vibe, but for some reason my mind instantly went Austria. Not sure why, but odds are I'd have clicked somewhere in far-west Austria. In my defense, I really dk what countries have Street view, I may have gone Switzerland if I knew Austria doesn't have it. Not too far off tho ig
R5 - Saw tropical rainforests, and the road didn't look African/Malaysian/Indonesian so I assumed Central/South America. There seemed to be a valley (of some sort) below the bridge tho, and the Brazilian Amazon is unbelievably flat, so I would've guessed Costa Rica. Colombia makes sense though tbf.
Still hoping we get a real play along so I can feel horrible bout myself when I finish 10k points behind you xD

I would have gone for south Japan on the Vientiane, Lao one (despite having lived in Vientiane for several months a few years back). Round 1 New Zealand had me yelling at my screen haha, that area is my current hometown and we are well known for producing some fantastic Syrah, Merlot and Chardonnay. Your guess was super close and well thought out! A tip for NZ is that one-lane bridges are extremely uncommon on the state highways/yellow roads and it is best to look at branching roads instead

Orient comes from the Latin for "to rise" (i.e. the sun)
It was later used to mean east as that's where the sun rises usually
So by extension Oriental means to the east

The Orient includes countries and regions like Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The term "Oriental" means of, originating from, or characteristic of these regions. In this instance, referring to architecture, it would not be considered offensive.

Oriental is the correct word to describe countries in the Far-East. Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia etc - are all Oriental.
For some weird reason, only Americans think there’s something wrong with the word. Americans use the word “Asian”. However in England, “Asian” more commonly refers to SOUTH Asia. If someone said they like Asian food, I’d be thinking of curry, naan bread and poppadoms.

The game works in the same way as geogessr, just in real life...
