What does the part where lgd crew saiy " if we win next game, remove your jacket " means? Can someone explain? Notail seems to put some serious explanation there
This is my theory - but keep in mind I have no way of confirming this. Just my take on it. LGD as an organization had been around since Wc3 DoTA days and was a very well respected org in China. They had just partnered with PSG (Paris St. Germain) in the months leading up to TI and there was an obvious push (likely a demand) for casters to refer to them as “PSG-LGD”, while long time fans still just saw them as “LGD”. The jerseys they have on underneath their jackets are purely LGD jerseys I believe, and the jackets are PSG jackets that say “Paris” on the back, and have the PSG logo on the front. I think they wanted to take their jackets off and leave them in the booth if they won, so that when they lifted the aegis they did so as “LGD” (the team they had been for years). Further, kind of putting a diss on PSG by saying “this TI is a win for China, fuck Paris”. Personally, I can understand wanting the victory to be attributed to LGD since it was the org that had supported them for years while PSG had bought in after most of the hard work was already done. HOWEVER, you took their money, so don’t diss them and try to cut them out after you cross the finish line. Either don’t take their money, or accept that they are part of your brand now.
