But then he goes to another team and the magic just isn't there. I don't think anyone in that roster is a "god" at anything. They all failed too much before and after for that to be true. It was just a perfect storm of players. Like, swap Ana for Miracle, or Topson for Ame (objectively better players) and it just doesn't work.

@@richardmarin2538 exactly, this is how complex dota is, not hiring the best player for every position, but having the most cohesive team with the best outlook on the game. I was a BurNIng fanboy and was disappointed how he couldnt have won a single TI when he was regarded as the best carry in the game during the old school days. But seeing Wings Gaming first then OG, I know that Dota has evolved so much that it doesn't require to have the best player in every position to win a TI.

ive watched both tis like 10 times maybe, jerax as far as in concerned was the mvp. everyone else obviously awesome as well and ceb a great mental coach/leader etc btut jerax was just on point with positioning in almost every fight it felt liek

and it took him like 3 month to shine again on EG, playing heroes like Bane and still makes flashy plays. Still remember the grind when he was only playing ES and was really bad when playing in QPAD red panda... Honestly its insane how he grew from that level of dota

I cannot explain how much better of a ”coach” OG made me. Watching these has improved me so much in a field that had nothing to do with E-sports, but I have learned so damn much from Notail and Ceb how to lead a team..!

I watched Ceb and Johann's reaction videos.
Ceb's was informative and I was in awe most of the time.
But man oh man. Johann's is comedy gold 😂😂 I cant stop laughing with him with his commentary

Notail we miss you so much man... you at stockholm... so much nostalgia, bringing back the casting memories of your two TI runs... best team in the history of Dota 2 with the back to back, and the 5x major wins... now the only question is. Can the OG legacy live on? With the major it is certainly looking that way... but Singapore will be a whole other challenge. I hope you the best man, retirement or not you are currently standing as the best captain ever. I'll admit I was cheering for liquid back in the day, but I remember clearly the prediction of OG vs. Liquid in my bracket for TI9 and while holding back tears i still praised your team to high heaven and to be honest, after the aegis loss for liquid that was the final nail. but the core IO pick was soooo good. Damn... okay long comment no one will read it, but damn I miss casting that line up of 5 monkeys. But new age new dota... as we age out the new generation is coming as you said in the monkey business show and I can't wait to see what comes next
I will always wonder what game 4 could of been if they had NP, thing is gives them a chance to match this IO esp with things like teleport for relo etc you can always chase him around lanes etc and MC was best prophet player in the world hands down at this point. I think liquid really messed up drafting in these games though and if my "coach" ever says i need you to play like player in other booth ill end his career my god kuro is fried in head

cores as flashy by nature, but supports are the real master minds, both strategically (rotations scouting itemisation) as tactically (making the calls, counter initiating and managint the fights and objectives)
even as quiet as they are you can tell their brilliant movements are foreseen in advance with every call they make:

Meanwhile they could read w33 like a book, he would even resist clear calls of his team and captain. and MC was really the most mentally done player I have seen in a TI series
1:21:43 some really profound stuff, OG had/has a brotherhood that brings nothing but respect and positive vibes for one another and even their opponents which is why they're so mentally strong together; "We grow a lot more together" -NoTail
The thing about og is.
ana - the quiet one , Maybe not the flashy and best mechanism in dota but when teamfight matter the most he delivered well. The one og's can count on when other player of og have rough game.
topson - versatile one have tons of hero pool, one of the best in term of items building. The one that even though he lost to his lane still can delivered well thru rotate and his gameplay.
Ceb - positive thinker, he understand well the game. He gave og the positives atmosphere every time.
Jerax - a quiet one too but when they in crucial times he gave those good call shot. One of the best in terms of rotation, and how he views/understand the map of the game.
Notail - he's the one that doesn't get the praise in game because hes position 5. But hes the one you can count on providing ana all those good farm.
OG with the art of war. Making the opponent feel & think they're too strong and winning, but they're just wasting time.
I think If ana boughtback earlier its a 3 and 0 game, honestly , why og lose the first game because they hold ana's buyback
But if that buyback actually came it would of changed everything so happy that happened anyways

Ta is farmer mid and all we know miracle signature is greedy carry so he need to adjust not greedy carry same with mc he down for tide but he need agression from mid player but kuroky keep pick ta mid on game 3 then 1 mistake for miracle they all mentally brokedown after miracle died on mid and there were they flamming each other
Jugg lifestealer and bb on miracle. Why they not pick him flashier more skilled heroes when he was so good back then

So technically it wasn't Ana's fault entirely that they lost first game because of not buying back immediately. He was already thinking about it but both ceb and notail told him to hold off on it. Dont get me wrong, im not blaming anyone. Just stating that it wasnt him entirely that made the wrong call unlike how it was believed by most people, including ceb during the huddle after Game 1.
And to those blaming kuro for TA/tide, it wasnt him entirely too, at the ban pick phase of Game 2, w33 said TA tide gives you everything. So stop blaming kuro for TA/tide. 😂
This part confused me. Why did ceb say ana messed up when he was the one who told him to wait?

i think kuroky should at the very least, listen to what his team mates want, not the usual meta. I mean like Daddy Topson, Big Daddy NoTail just agrees whatever Godson wants, and vice versa for Topson to what Notail also wants. This line-up of OG is still the very best NO CAP
