well done video man. so many other videos the mechanic spends too much time bragging about what he's done to other cars similar in the past and fails to show us what we need to see. you pointed out where everything was and exactly what needed to be done to get the job done right. appreciate the professionalism keep it up
Love this video, Simple love the attitude and straight to the point bro. I've been hesitant on doing this to my charger but geez I've been slacking on how easy it is
Lol I know right! Manufactures are attempting to make the vehicle harder to work on to prevent DIY. It is the biggest profit every manufacturer makes is on repairs of the vehicles.
That is up to you, it is not mandatory but does shield the undercarriage from any mud or road debris. Manufacturers put them there for detail purposes, a plastic skid plate is worthless with anything else but small road debris. Thanks for watching!!!
Yes most definitely. Your oil filter becomes clogged with sediment from the engine that gets in the engine oil. Of course that is the oil filters job, but every time you change your engine oil you want to have a new filter as well.
Have a question I have a 2021 dodge charger . Since Ive had it the dealership used synthetic blend oil . They wasn't using fully synthetic oil . Do you think they are not giving me the rite oil for my car or they are trying to play me
@@Sellthoseflippingcars they are using maxpro Mopar synthetic blend oil I looked up the part number on my paper work receipt I guess it's their own type oil they use but my car pose take fully synthetic oil not synthetic blend
No, I used the same weight in my truck and motorcycle out there. What part you living in? Phoenix summer is no joke! I still have family that live in Mesa, definitely a great place!
Yes I live in Phoenix. Summer is no joke but its my favorite season tbh. Good to know if your truck works fine with 5w20 then I should be good. One last question: do you recommend the gt with 3.6 v6 or the R/t with 5.7 both used 2020 models fuel economy is not a problem? Thanks
My apologies I did not add the oil light reset procedure in on this video. Here is a video on how to reset that light for your Dodge Charger th-cam.com/video/WFzSCWAw3Ac/w-d-xo.html Thank you for watching!

Pretty sure KITT had this kinda power
5 Starr channel.good energy brother…you save me some dough✌️😂😂😂1000 bro.
My pleasure to be of assistance
I love how simple it is to do on that car. I have to do it in 2000 miles
It is quite simple, it is crazy that dealerships and auto shops charge as much as they do to complete it. Thanks for watching!
Have mine for a little over 2 years first time trying on my own
You got this!!!! Let me know if you have any questions
Why wouldn’t you replace the rubber gasket on the cap of that oil filter??
The Oring on the cap you can replace if it looks dryrotted or torn
You missed the big O ring gasket in the filter!
The owner just had it replaced on the last oil change so it was still good, but you are correct if its there you should replace it. Good catch Dustin!
Do you have to put the cover back on under the car?

What is that cartridge? My oil filter might be 3.6l my engine is an 8 cylinder. Do I still have the same 10mm cover to access my oil filter?
Different engine, different specs
Nice, do you got to change the oil filter every time you change the oil
Yes most definitely. Your oil filter becomes clogged with sediment from the engine that gets in the engine oil. Of course that is the oil filters job, but every time you change your engine oil you want to have a new filter as well.
I just need myself a ratchet with a metric socket set and I'm good to go! Thanks 😊
Too Easy!!! You are most welcome! Thanks for watching!

I would ask next time you take it in to see the oil they are using, because you want to see what you are paying for.

Do you think 5w20 oil is too thin for someone who drives in AZ in summer where the temperature is 115

What are you using the car for? If you are going for engine I would choose the V8 all day everyday
@@Sellthoseflippingcars
Mostly highway driving (~55k miles a year)
Yeah I think am going for the V8
Thanks
As long as you stay off the 10 during rush hour you will be fine lol
You didn’t change the o ring?
I did, i just didnt record it, my apologies. Thank you for watching!
Thanks bro
You're most welcome bro! Thanks for watching!
Nice 👍 bro
Thank you for watching!!!
Did you forget to change the oil filter cap o-ring as well?
No I replaced the parts that were needed. If the oring is not rolled nor dryrotted you can use it again.
At what percentage did you have before you did the oil change ??
It is up to you on that, just get it done before it is at 0% This vehicle was brought to me at 7% remaining on the oil meter.
you didn't even change the O-ring on the oil cap
If it is dry rotted or rolled then replace it. If it is not then it is not mandatory. Thank you for watching
Do the oil percentage change on its own on the display

U forgot to change gasket on the oil filter
True if the Oring is worn on the cartridge cover you should replace it. Great catch!
