I'm so stoked because, "I'm a Search and Rescue Officer for the U.S. Forest Service..." is my all time favorite of Lighthouse! Almost three hours of uninterrupted majesty! It it what got me started with creepypastas and LH. Hopefully this will be just as captivating.😘

Man, of all the things that raises hairs on the back of my neck when listening to stories, it's a staircase in the woods. Something about how unknown it is. I'm not superstitious in the least bit, but I wouldn't ever mess with one of those.
Have you listened to Dougie Corrado's staircase story? It's a series that starts with the stairs and just escalates from there! There's like 4 or 5 in the series. Told from 1st person. Really great stories, and he is an amazing storyteller!

I've seen a couple of staircases in the woods. They looked like they had once been part of a structure that had fallen or burned down. They look looked like a great way to get tetanus or a broken limb.
FWIW, I'm from Oregon and saw a set of stars near Bridal Veil Falls. The other stairs I found were near the California side of Lake Tahoe.
Currently raining out here, just made hot chocolate and a new Lighthouse Horror dropped. What a time to be alive.
Sounds so relaxing! Having a lot of rain here too because of the hurricane that hit Florida. Got a cup of coffee, the lights are low, and listening now!

Sounds like the campgrounds are the ones from the " i work overnight at a gas station" story....sarge was there helping him warn campers of storms

hey Lighthouse i f*cking love listening to these stories my favourites are the "im a search and rescue officer for the US forest service" and i hope you do many more especially winter ones or just any i also like the one based around eldritch horrors such as the wendigo mountain cabin or smth like that but keep it up man

I really enjoy the park ranger stories and these were great! Awesome narration as always. The backgrouns were so well done too. Love that they sync up so well as do the very subtle ambient sounds. The slowly appearing toothy grin was particularly creepy and I loved it! Sarge is always a welcome addition, woof! Thank you and the team very much!!

@@ryanbashor7371 the voodoo shop has three more parts aside from the 2 lighthouse did. So 5 total but the narrerator for the other three bucks and their final up load was done wrong and it's mixed up bad. I didn't know there was more then 1 demon roommate that's awesome

I discovered this channel about a year ago. Ive been very ill, both physically and mentally, for the last 2 years, been very isolated and stuck.
Around the time i started watching these videos to get through the nights on new meds, I met this random Norwegian guy online.
One year later, I'm in Norway, lying next to my fiance.
Im still ill. Just went on disability. Life's still very hard.
But it has brought me where I needed to be.
And still, many nights, I listen to these stories while I diligently take my now everyday meds. It's part of a ritual of comfort, and im so thankful for all of it ❤
When you realize this is a baffling mystery that happens in real life, people do disappear in national parks with no trace of them ever being found?
Its aliens or demons opening portals to other dimensions
I’m thinking the entity have a truce with the park rangers and only take them if they cross a certain threshold all rangers are warned about with reason or if they do something undeniably disrespectful. It makes the most sense because the both gotta be there they don’t wanna declare a secret war against the being or worse have BiG brother express interest in it cuz they’d see up the whole forest & subject whatever is captured to thing illegal at Guantánamo Bay

The yellow eyes squatches apparently are the “nice” ones. There’s also ones that have red eyes and they’re the ones you need to run from and leave if you’re camping around em. They’re the ones you hear throwing rocks and pushing trees over to scare ya. The yellow eyed ones are the ones you always hear in stories that help people like a lost hiker. Maybe they have different breeds/species just like there are different monkeys and apes? 🤷♂️

Im pretty sure the forest in this story is the Hoia Baciu forest in Romainia. It is rumored to be haunted. I realized this when he mentioned the girl who went missing for 5 years and appeared not to have aged. I know another creepypasta story that mentioned the forest "The Romanian Knowledge experiment" by creepypastajr.The story is genuinely scary, and there is even an sfm video by Necroceph SFM I highly recommend whatching the two videos.

Good boy Sarge! I love the rhythm to your stories. You are easy to listen to, and bring good voices. One voice in particular sticks with me. It's when you say "Don't". "Don't. She's a witch". LOL! That rings in my head sometimes when I'm thinking of doing something. I love it. It just pops up in my head. I go to eat a doughnut..."Don't". I go to flick a friends ear..."Don't. She's a witch." Oh man, it's just funny and thought you should get a laugh too. I meant to write this before, but I heard "Don't". :)

My father i 87 old He came from Istria,today croatia, and lived an isolated home a couple of km from a little small isolated village colled Grisignana. One night coming from this Village to home, he saw a White Wolf following him . When my father stopped even the Wolf did so. When arrived at home he turn again but the White Wolf had disappeared. I Will Always Remember this story that my father told me. Ciao a tutti from Trieste
Train your dog with the "Let's go home" command. When you go for a walk and then turn around to go back, say "Okay, let's go home," so if you get lost, you can tell your dog Let's go home, and they will do it automatically. I live in the North country, where David Paulides has written about 3 grown men who have gone missing without a trace. Let me tell you, there's things in these woods that are older than humanity. Land surveyors have quit and left the area. Loggers now make sure they don't go out alone to do prep work. Those personal beacon devices are invaluable. Carry surveyors tape in fluorescent colors and mark your trail with it in line of sight so when you turn around you can just go from marked tree to marked tree and find your way home. Carry an expensive compass with you at all times. I had a cheap one and it started spinning once.

The girl that was missing for 5 years. What did she eat? Did she drink from a creek? The bear man could have been a mountain man,wearing a bear fur to keep warm. She appeared+ he took care of her.

Can you do tales from the gas station. It's humorous, but has very nice horror elements.
I live in Colorado. Down in Denver, but we go to the moutains all the time. Normally I love it....but there are times when you're in the middle of no where, surrounded by nothing but thousand of pine trees....and you just know, in your soul, that you're not alone out there.
