The gauge bulbs are still alive (not sure if they wereq ever replaced at all since I only got the car in October 2023) in my 97 MK1 MX5 and while I do like the retro almost "glow in the dark" look of them (contrasted with a metal faceplate), I think I like the LED display more. Might get that switched over when the bulbs start to go.
Looked up gauge lights, was not disappointed. As soon as he started talking I subscribed😂I then check his channel and find out it’s a couple months new. I’m dying for more videos now
This car is every Miata owners goal! You should get a JIS screwdriver. I noticed a regular philips was stripping the screws on my Miata. Haven't had a problem since picking up a JIS. Take it easy dude!

Man I really want to add sidemarkers in my miata as well! I have only rear ones but not front ones because I have an european Miata 😔. But I'll do gauge cluster illumination because mine is quite weak, maybe I'll do purple 😍 Can wait to see the video about interior LED illumination! Quick question! Do you know which colors are for the needles and which one are for the redline because I have a led kit and all of them are blue but I wanna change the the needles to white and the redline to red
If you still need help: The gauges have a green and red backing. So they should stay that colour. Only the needles/total mileage should turn the color of your leds

Well the Speedo cable is for the mph I would guess it’s the cluster that went bad Or maybe the electrics? Not too sure on it tho honestly If I were you I’d ask someone if you could borrow someone’s cluster just to test to see if yours went bad. Then I would go from there 👍🏼

@@cris89ize I didn’t list a specific part number because there’s 1000 different bulbs of the T10 family with so many color options These were basically the cheapest ones I could find
Broo what i did on my Miata i took out the gauge faces and i we sanded them down and same with my hvac so i no longer have green it’s all white but i tried to do the pop up and emergency lights as well but mine were all soldered i also want to change the lights on the side of of the drivers side door but i don’t know how to do that

You don't have to flip the led. Just turn the holder 180o.
