@@desertdave what are you using in the UK that could give you a 380VAC three phase output @230VAC single phase input. I have checked locally and here on southern Africa nd I'm finding it difficult to get one. Most reputable brands only convert to a corresponding three phase output of what you put in (i.e. 230VAC). So what ever circuitry they are using to boost the output is worth admiring. I'm all for satey too but do you have an alternative... If yes please share.

What rated 1ph 230v input is needed for an inverter running a 3 ph 230v 20A rated motor?
