Thanks Karen. I was also confused looking at them some time ago, but I was just going to order them through Robinson. I think we used Saxon for one year at school.
Hi there! I’m piecing together Saxon 54 and can’t find the Homeschool packet. I have 2nd edition student text and the Masters and Test Forms booklet. Do you think a 2nd edition Teacher’s Manual would suffice to substitute for the Honeschool Packet? Thank you so much for your super helpful videos!
It looks like there is a solutions manual for the later editions but not the 2nd edition. For 76 I just have a home study packet with the answers but that’s really sufficient. You really don’t need one until after 87 in my opinion and other sources.
Hello Karen, I was wondering if you knew which Saxon calculus book I would need to purchase that would contain two test forms such as Form A and Form B? When I was in high school I remember my calculus teacher handing out one test form as a study guide and I was wanting to do the same with my kids.
Hi I have 5/4 and 6/5 only the textbooks. I remember in one of your older videos you mention that with those two book we don't need any other forms. Do you think now I need the other forms or just the textbook will be fine? Thank you
Thank you for posting another informative video about Saxon Math. I am trying to buy math 54 for my daughter. I found Saxon math 54 on ebay. They have a yellow cover. Are they the first edition? So when buying the math book I have to get the teachers manual as well? And there are worksheets? How many books just for math 54 are in total? I know there's is the teacher's manual, the workbook, and then the answer key. Is that it?
Is it paperback? It sounds like a third edition. There are no worksheets and you don’t need a teachers manual. You just need the answer key/home study packet and the Test forms if you want to use them.
I just looked up the same book with a different seller. Yes, it is the third edition. Would you recommend the 3rd instead of the first edition? So many questions😅
I don’t know if I missed this, but can you mix and match which editions you use as long as you have the matching answer keys? Like can I use 5/4 4th ed and 6/5 3rd ed ?
I need the answer key for Math 54 An Incremental Development second edition. Do you know where I can find a used one or is there one online? We only need it 1 year.
Thanks for the edition info. For future videos...its not useful for the viewer to quickly flip through a book in the direction of the camera. We can't see any of the content, only that there's text or graphics that way.
Please correct me if I have misunderstood - but I thought I remembered an earlier video of yours where you said anything after 2004 were not as good. Could you help me understand why you now are saying buying a newer set would be the same? I think I’m missing something - thank you!
I'm curious as well. I want to just go with the newer versions to avoid all this craziness, but think I'm missing something b/c of all your reviews and you clearly like the older books. Is it just b/c they are hard back?
Thanks Karen. I was also confused looking at them some time ago, but I was just going to order them through Robinson.
I think we used Saxon for one year at school.
It’s definitely easier just ordering from RC.
Love Love Love, your videos. Thank you for showing all the Saxon Book Levels and Editions, will help tremendously when looking for the books.
Thank you!
Oh man, I was brought up with saxon in private school and I just was not sold on using it for my kids, but you've convinced me!
Yay!
Omg!! Your outfit is so cute!😍
Aw thank you!!
Thank you so much for your videos. Very helpful. Where did you get your addition and subtraction flash cards?
The Robinson Curriculum store.

Never mind! I think you answered my question as I continued to watch around 42 mins. Thank you so much!
Hi Karen, quick question, for your kids do you use the first edition or the second edition Saxon 65 textbook?
Thank you
Second edition, I prefer the ones that have the reference number next to the problems.
I have the 76 2nd edition but cannot find a solutions manual. Do you know if they ever made one?

That would be the first edition. I have one, and I tell you it's not easy to find today lol.
This is help a lot, thank you Karen. Do you know where can I find or buy the answer for HMH Saxon math Power up grade 4 by Stephen Hake?
I believe I found that one on Amazon.
Thank you

Definitely the answer key. After that maybe test forms if you want to have them do the tests.

@@jennymendoza1102 I recommend any edition you can find the matching answer key for :) You can order the complete set from RC directly too.

Yes, absolutely. Use whatever you find.
I need the answer key for Math 54 An Incremental Development second edition. Do you know where I can find a used one or is there one online? We only need it 1 year.
I’ve found some on Amazon, thrift books, and abebooks or local homeschool resource centers, it’s just a hunt to find them.
Hi, do you need an umbrella school for RC?
Depends on your state, I think California yes but Arizona no.

this all just confused me more. so many editions and diff books and sheets......
If you just buy an all in one newer set you won’t have to worry about any of this. It comes with all the forms, answer keys etc that you need.
