    Love seeing a breakdown of some of these moves. Sucks about Sam's garden jumps being taking down. Was really looking forward to a Pilgs/Cardy session when you got healthy.
    Screw Mark R in Colchester.

    Awesome stuff Tom. Don't rush on your recovery, you're going to be back in the saddle before too long and shredding again like an absolute legend and we are looking forward to seeing it. The important thing is you're healed up properly and get to enjoy your riding again. 😎👍

    Two things:
    1) That flannel when you showed the no-foot can is sick.
    2) Can you do one of these vids for 180s and riding fakie? I'm having a hard time riding fakie, then 180ing back around.
    Thanks for another great vid!

      riding fakie takes heeeeaaaps of practice. to learn it i dedicated an hour a day of just trying over and over again until i got it. i took about 10 days. i still can't do it for ages but i haven't dedicated any practice time since learning. i just found a little hill and endo'd on it and rolled back slowly figuring it out as i went

    hi tom just wondering which order i should learn these tricks in would the correct order be tuck no hander then barspin then 360 then backflip then tailwhip?

    • @alfbarrowcliffe8910
      @alfbarrowcliffe8910 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d learn tailwhips before backflips if I where you

  • @glennbroad2543
    @glennbroad2543 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have you done a video on speed? When hitting big jumps if I’m not going far enough more speed doesn’t seem to help, I see others going slower and making much bigger jumps

    • @markmccall9027
      @markmccall9027 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The trouble is these guys boost all their jumps by basically doing big bunny hops off the lip. Us mere mortals feel the fear and more than often find ourselves squashing the jump a bit (even if we don't think we are!). So, we think we need to go faster, but usually it's all about the pop and unweighting the bike better.

    Is there a reason mtber's do truckdriver barspins and almost never standard barspins?

    • @TomCardy
      @TomCardy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not to sure why tbh!

    • @davidclarke4301
      @davidclarke4301 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's probably the bigger wheels and longer bars.
      It takes more force to barspin a mtb than a bmx.

    Gutted, Tom. Gutted. The indian air was a creation of Matt Hoffman at least a decade before the moto guys did it. (while entirely true I do mean this tongue in cheek. Just giving credit where it's due :-) )
