When you did the voice recording test, there are background sounds and voices (children noises) coming through. I can only assume these were being picked up by your boom mic. That was a shame because I wanted to experience how the Poly handled its background noise suppression function. Can you confirm those background noises were being picked up from your mic, or from the Poly???

@@rolandorosas thanks so much for the reply. Great to know Poly will pick up sounds at a distance. So just to confirm, the noise reduction capability was Disabled during the tests. For me, and my meetings I'd like those background noises removed. Just trying to gauge the effectiveness of the noise suppression functionality. Thanks.

What is the name of the song you were playing during the test?

The name of the song that we used in the Poly Sync 20 demo; Dreams. Here is a link to it on TH-cam.

Have you tested this on live teams and zoom calls? I read somewhere there is an echo (when being unmute)which the recipient from the other side can hear when you use this as mic and speakerphone at the same time. Just want to verify if this is true before purchasing.

      Jeffrey,
We have not run into this issue. When using zoom or teams. This echo effect can be caused if the volume is too high when on any platform. This type of problem not just on speaker phones but also headsets. You'll find many forums with issues regarding echo. All of which can be solved with the correct settings and configuration of the device and the platform. If you run into any issues are technical support wizards can help you just have your order number ready when you call in.
