For me its the Poly 4320. I can seat next to a loud TV show and other people on the other line cant hear a thing other than my voice. I can attend a meeting confidently while in a mall food court- no problem.
The only thing about the Yealink UH37 that I noticed -once I looked at their page- was the way the headphones speakers are flush as opposed to concave. The idea that they are resting against my ears instead of cradling them gives me the "Ick". I wish there was an option to have them have a more "C" like shape around my ears instead of being flat. But thank you for the review!!
this might be a tall order, but i'm looking into getting a wireless headset with a decent mic that's about $100 CAD/75 USD. it'll mostly be used for chatting with friends while i move around and do chores, which is why i'm not prepared to spend more. would you have any suggestions? i've tried the JBL tune.. 710 i believe and skullcandy hesh evo and both are sounding pretty muffled. i was pretty disappointed with the skullcandy because it sounded decent in the mic tests i've looked at. i would really appreciate any help!
what is the best mic I can buy for VOIP calls, specifically with Bria? The price doesn't matter. I don't care for any special features or requirements other than the best sounding mic period. I don't care how much it costs if it's a noticeable difference in Mic quality. Currently on 5200 and Jabra Evolve2 75.
Honestly nothing beats the Epos Impact 1000 series for mic performance… literally nothing. It’s made by Sennheiser and it’s outstanding. Expensive but effin outstanding! If I wasn’t on an RJ9 system , I’d definitely pay the $400 or whatever. You could use that as a gaming headset probably and knowing Sennheiser if they give you an EQ or a flat tune, those speakers could be used to mix I bet
I really wish Apple would release AirPods with a boom mic. Transparency mode is just leagues ahead of the competition. Ended up with Flex 65 for work calls
Is there any option available jn the market of wired, ANC headphones/earbuds with noise cancelling mic? I want wired because I hate the “hands free mode” that is needed to use to join calls in Windows with bluetooth mic/sound
Thanks Dave for the wonderful review. I’m shopping for a microphone with noise cancellation and great comfort for my work to do medical record dictation. I’m interested in the Jabra evolve2 55 based on your review. I’m wondering about the MS or UC. Do I have to download the app Jabra Direct in order to optimize the headset? I can’t download any app in my PC workstation. Thank you in advance for answering my question.
@@HeadsetAdvisor True, my bad. Kindly do a comparison of the Epos Impact 1000 against the Orosound and the best of Jabra. Your comparison videos are brilliant
I gave it a lot of taught but I think most people should use Jabra just because they're the industry standard. The callcenter software is always going to be optimized to work with this brand just because everyone uses it. The problem with ANC on a mic is that oftentimes the software used will also have some noise reduction going on. So what will work in one program won't necessarily work in something else. I'm not necessarily a expert but there always seems to be some unforseen bottleneck with wireless headsets.
When you have noise canceling software like neep.com you'll be able to get the best noise cancellation and clearest voice quality with just about any audio device that work in all programs 🙂
To stop wind's noise, only two headsets do the job. Jabra evolve 2 75, and poly 5200. The shokz is not enough accurate nor professional in that situation. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot!
Wow, what an incredibly meticulous review! I can't even begin to imagine the amount of time you invested in this. It's extremely helpful!. just a minor comment. 11:42 seems to be an engage 65/75 and not an engage 55 due to headsets silver accents. engage 55 is blackish in color. nothing to worry, overall a a fantastic review still. very high quality content.😊 (PS. One is wired and one is wireless so it all depends on your specific needs, but for microphone noise cancellation the Engage 50 II will probably have the advantage.
