Hi. Is it true that the speaker disconnects after 45 minutes even while using? I've read in an Amazon feedback that this happens.

I have connected a Poly Sync 40 to my Mac mini (running Sonoma 14.2.1) via the USB-C cable, and the speaker works, but I am unable to get the microphone to work for Zoom calls or anything else on my PC. What am I doing wrong?

We need troubleshooting for the cable connection on a system that doesn’t have Bluetooth. Can you please include that in the future? It recognizes the monitor audio but installs and does not utilize this speaker audio…. Even after connecting.

What device are you connecting it to? Windows PC or Macbook? And what version (Windows 10, etc)

so i own multiple poly devices, as i visited the Factory in Tijuana MX for 3 weeks (business proposes) and i got 5 Poly devices in my home, Voyager 6200, 8200, Focus Series 2, Sync 40M and Sync 20M,
The Sync 20 will seamlessly connect to my phone and PC whether using a dongle or Bluetooth connection. Same applies for my other 3 devices. However the one and only device that wont connect via Bluetooth us the Sync 40, i can connect with with a dungle yes, but i cant use it with my phone or other devices. I updated the firmware via Poly Lens and got the same issue still.
I guess the Sync 40M comes with this connection flaw

Thanks! Is that possible to put the speaker in silence and keep mic activated?

      Thanks for watching 😀😍.
Depending on what you've connected to it. For example if you have your mobile phone connected to it and your mobile is on vibrate or no notifications mode you can essentially keep the speaker pn 🔊 while having the mic on as well. If you also configure the speakerphone using the mobile app (Poly Lens) you can modify how the speakerphone acts when it comes to notifications.
Can you tell me what device you're connecting to it? I'm over phone or a computer? And just to confirm what you're trying to do is connect into a meeting or a conversation and have the microphone on but have no sound coming through during this conversation or meeting?

@@GlobalTeckWorldWideThank you so much for the answer and help me!
The device will be connected into an Android tv (bluetooth or USB). In the room we already have a great sound system jointed with the tv, via optic cable. That's why I have to mute or cut the speaker of poly, because we already have the sound system. And the question os that we need its room mic in the meeting room. Could I just normally lower the volume in the poly and keep its mic working during the meeting? Is It possible?
      I really thank you!
