@@westcottdesigns I agree. I'd personally go with 35 X 11.50 instead, but great look with those black rims. Icon Compressions would look awesome as well.
Offsets Explained - never tells us the offset for the first set. Spends 50% of the video showing other accessories not related to offset. Never explains offsets. Come on man 😩.
Damn the setup with black wheels looks fantastic!! Toyota should’ve hired you guys, so professional!! When they lower the crazy prices in the Taco I will be outfitting with WD for sure! Keep the videos coming!
Machined silver wheels look great. Sometimes less is more. This is one of those times. A lot of people will disagree and go with the black wheels, which is another reason I like the machined finish more.
I had a 2.5" SST ReadyLift placed and added LOCK Krawler (Bronze) wheels and put 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak A/T4 +1 tires on my 2024 Black Tacoma TRD Sport. Looks clean and no rubbing.
Perfect!!!!..Now I know what set to get for my new Tacoma I am getting this week.. With that being said..what’s the best offset as well for the 4 runner? If you know?
You can thank jeep for writing the play book when it comes to lifts and the right tire wheel combo without cutting or hacking up your truck. Glad to see Toyota making it easier for their customers
Lift: Hi Jeff, when you did the lift, did you keep the stock shocks and just changed the springs/coils??? I have a stock 2023 4Runner TRD ORPremium with KDSS and am trying to learn about my Westcott lift options. Was this lift a “coil over” lift? Thanks! 🙏🏻👍🏻🌵🛞🛞🛞🛞
Nothing of the previous gen can fit on New tacoma 2024 : 139.7 pattern / 95.1 center bore / stud size 14mm And studs are flat seat, so only toyota wheel with flat seat fit on. The reason is you have only 24mm of stud of your wheel nuts. A big mistake from Toyota this change. Everything is like the new Tundra 23-24
Love the designs! It all flows very well together. What kind of sealant is used to attach the roof rack? Silicone, or a rubber gasket similar to Sherpa?
when will this lift be available... i installed your tundra air suspension kit immediately after buying my 2022 2 years ago. love it. my taco is scheduled to be here in February...
unless i missed it - you didnt say what wheel offset is in the Video.....also I 'm looking at putting 285/70/17 tires on with either a "0" offset or a "-10" offset wheels - going 8.5 or 9" wide wheel totally stock TRD Sport and wondering what that looks like and rubbing issues if any?
Offset on the black wheel looks sharper. At the end of the video...had you yet to do an alignment after the lift? Positive camber looks a bit excessive, no?
Hey I have a question what off set are the rims. I have stock tires on my truck still with a 3 1/2" full suspension lift and I have 3 1/2" wheel spacers and my tires poke out to were I like. And I'm being told I wanna go with a -38 offset to get the same look I have right now....
I'm considering a long bed later this year, after my project car is finished. Back in 1988, I had a Toyota truck with a 7" lift, MT baja belted 35x17.5" wide tires on 15x12" wide wheels with an aggressive offset. As for today's tire sizes, finding tires as wide as 17.5" is next to impossible, unless I missed something.
Very informative review. For those of us that want to run a 285/70/17 will you be making something like a 1.5" front spacer leveling kit only? Also if don't like such a huge poke I imagine new wheels will come out with a +40mm offset designed for the new tacoma? I assume the new TRD wheel will probably be a +25 but stick out more on the TRD Offroad as the fenders are narrower?
With the smaller 4 cylinder, I wonder how the truck will handle 35’s without regearing. Will it handle it properly or will it be a slouch and how much more strain will it put on the trans
Black wheels and bigger tires all the way. Just curious how much power loss you'll get with the 35s? I'm guessing it would need to be re-geared. I'm sure Nitro has already cut gears for it to 4.88 or 5.29
hi i have a 2024 tacoma trd sport on faxctory suspention i just baought KMCKM KM477 on 285/75/17 my wheel has a 0 offset can i run this wheel and tire package on factory suspention?
Black. Looks great! Question, will the TRD pro have the same offset from the factory as the other trim levels? I have one coming and definitely gonna run your lift and swap out wheels/tires.
When is your TRD pro coming how did you find it? I didn’t even think these were allocated yet? I’m hoping to get mine soon! Hoping for the white on red.
@threadoflife I don't have one specifically ordered. I just put in a deposit with my dealer for a TRD pro tacoma. Did the same with my 22 Tundra and was 1st on the list when it arrived. I actually passed up on a solar octane tundra and got the next one in lunar rock.
@@kybeau right on what color scheme are you going for or are you open to whatever they get? Also have they told you if they’ll be charging you a mark up or given any pricing info?
@threadoflife no mark up. My dealer doesn't do that and I buy all my toyotas through them. Not sure on the color. This truck is actually for my son so he will have some input on the color although I think he will be too excited to pass up on anything lol.
Can someone clarify why the +25 offset still has the wheel out of the fender flares? Is the stock at 0 offset? If so, wouldn't a (+) offset wheel make it go into the well?
Did I miss something or did this explain nothing? Like can this truck run a 33-12.5 tire and what are the options stock and with this kit most - and + offsets with out hacking the truck up and what is biggest with out even touching that safety bracket ?
I would really like to put method trail series wheels on this truck but they don’t offer that rim in 25 offset. They do have 35 offset. Is that too much of an offset for this setup?
Nice to see you address the rear squat. Leveled trucks look great parked, until you add rear payload or tow and then they look, handle and feel terrible. Lifts should leave some rake unless the spring rate in the rear is increased accordingly like OME offers. I guess most people who go for a straight level kit probably are only after a certain look, but a mild rake I still think is a great idea.
Damn! Westcott Designs is showing the new Tacoma’s potential, brought it to life.. awesome!
Mantap, semoga dapat hadiah

The +25 offset with 35s is a perfect setup. Toyota did great with their refresh🤙🏽

Maybe he doesn’t want to admit he’s using wheel spacers. I know I never want to brag about mine 🙄
those 2024s track wider so absolutely no need for spacers. Judging by the looks I’d say that’s a +35 offset.
That overlay on the roof rack & sliders really takes them to the next level when it comes to aesthetics. Makes it look more premium. Great work
Thank you!🙏
Great work Jeff and team!!!
Is this yours @trdjohn?
great video and explanation for a beginner like myself! helpful note, put your website in the description
That lift looks so sick and so professional like the truck just came that way from the factory seriously major props to you and your team

When removing the brackets behind the front wheels to make room for 35s, what do you use to seal the bolt holes?

what was the offset on the machined wheels? I know the black one was +25, but did not hear you say what the machined wheel offset was
Black wheel size setup for sure!
You really took a lot of things to the next level on this Tacoma!

I prefer the offset of the machined wheels. Looks a lot more beefy and mean. Great job on explaining all the options on the new Tacomas. Thank you!
Black with the 1-3/4 off set nice set up
As a jeep 392 owner this taco looks amazing great job WD!
