This was 👀 eye opening!!! I found myself assessing my life and decisions. Whew! I am reading 1 John right now and really appreciate taking scripture and relating to the old testament story. Solidifies it.

Only heard this recently , Thanks for your emphasis on God's word.Back in the late seventies I played guitar in an Irish Showband when I came to faith.With many hours travelling and before the many technologies I just read and memorized vast portions of the bible.KJV.This has truly sustained me .To all commit as much as possible to memory God bless

Great sermon. As Christians it is easy to get caught up in and with the world and the political divisions and forget we are in the world and not of the world as our we are citizens of the Kingdom...

This is a superb exposition on the life of Samson’s life and the 4 women that were such a part of it. Godfrey is a historian and a theologian… great combination; full of humorous statements. Not that it matters to you, or should; I reallyenjoy the way he verbalizes his thoughts. .. o refreshing! For believers, there is a lot of ‘take-away’ in this conference video. Christians do fall into temptation and sin , but when we genuinely repent with our heart and will, God is faithful to forgive us. However continuously, willfully and arrogantly sinning is not acceptable to God and we can lose our salvation.We cannot abuse the grace of God.Our direction and our progress are very important to God.

We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, yet He listened to Samson. Always amazes me how many people will slander such an anointed man who devoted his whole life to the service of God. Judges 14.4 states that his illicit marriage was 'of the Lord' done with the intention of seeking occasion against the enemies of God’s people.

I think it is likely that Delilah didn't care for Samson, but it may be jumping to conclusions to conclude that only because she didn't show up to see him. Sometimes people do things out of character. Scripture doesn't record for us what she did afterward.

No . I believed Samson’s life story was a total obedience to the will of God .
For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ...

Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH.
