EXACTLY EXACTLY ! What a servant of the Lord he was. He gave so much and brought many like me to a more perfect understanding of things of God. I had never heard of the Doctrines of Grace before. I found predestination not to be believable on the one hand and logical on the other so as I kept watchin, listening and reading the references, it is now a core belief of mine. He and other Ligonier pastors said like, ' If you don't believe in predestination then you have too LOW a view of God.'

The Church has seen the passing of a great and gifted teacher and it will miss him. Heaven has gained another saint to worship at the throne and Dr. Sproul has reached the goal for which he long labored under the guidance of the Spirit of God. Thanks be to God for Dr. Sproul. In this message he spoke of the finite's inability to comprehend the Infinite and I believe that scripture teaches us that Dr. Sproul now understands it all for we who are in Christ are promised that we will know as we are known. I’ve listened to this message a couple of times in the past several years but hearing it in October 2021 in light of current events it’s taking on a whole new level of urgency and importance. It’s one thing to feed on solid teaching during days of peace and prosperity. It’s a whole other animal when certain specified biblically foretold moments in history arise within a generation calling for a response. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that God is and always will be acting on PLAN A. His plan has always been and always will be perfect and in no need of change. There is no plan B. A plan B is unnecessary. No matter how things look. To all my fellow Christians in 2021- fight the good fight. Fight the right fight. See you in Glory!

We lost our 19yo son in 2016. I say lost, but I know where he is, w/Jesus Christ. But in this existence, we feel the absence caused by death sharply. I miss RC Sproul like I miss my youngest of our two sons. I am excited to know I will see them both again.

R.C. Sproul's teaching on double imputation changed my life when I heard it at age 48 even though I was already saved since childhood. As a child, I misunderstood how bad I was from my parents and then God was mad at me too? Understanding double imputation set things right and took away the score-keeping mentality which set my heart to constant and inevitable failure. I am saved by HIS works not my own. Jesus kept the whole law perfectly on behalf of those who put their trust in Him. What a relief! To what else do I owe my servitude but Him?
My first encounter with this brilliant theologian was back in the early 70's. His early teaching lectures at Ligonier were captured on cassette tape and I was able to get a large collection of them. It was my earliest awakening to the Christian faith and led to my acceptance of Christianity.
You can see, how he pours out his Love for Christ and know how important we need to know him. Not only on a whim or passing. The personal way of his strength and humility and love each time. The depth of understanding he shared. I am a better person, to have heard his view. Not putting trust in any man. But, loving his fellowship and care he so richly shares each time. Thank you God and Jesus Christ for the outpouring of your servant and bless him with his shared gifts. Amen

I have enjoyed the exposition of the Word by many, in explication of much of what I would understand, but I have been blessed by this Pastor, this sermon, answering a question that has been in me for better than forty years of my faith. I am of scientific mind, a mechanic, a metal worker, I've spent a life becoming grounded in the sciences, in spite of my faith, and only now have come to know "the great Carl Sagan" chose to side-step the question he could not answer, but which I can now answer for myself, my son and daughter, and for any who ask, in faith. I was greatly blessed this day, by the words of Our Lord, as spoken through this man of God, inspired, and raised up. I've dealt with this issue most of my life, in vain, and now have clarity in my faith, and I thank God for this.

EXACTLY EXACTLY ! What a servant of the Lord he was. He gave so much and brought many like me to a more perfect understanding of things of God. I had never heard of the Doctrines of Grace before. I found predestination not to be believable on the one hand and logical on the other so as I kept watchin, listening and reading the references, it is now a core belief of mine. He and other Ligonier pastors said like, ' If you don't believe in predestination then you have too LOW a view of God.'

I’ve listened to this message a couple of times in the past several years but hearing it in October 2021 in light of current events it’s taking on a whole new level of urgency and importance. It’s one thing to feed on solid teaching during days of peace and prosperity. It’s a whole other animal when certain specified biblically foretold moments in history arise within a generation calling for a response. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that God is and always will be acting on PLAN A. His plan has always been and always will be perfect and in no need of change. There is no plan B. A plan B is unnecessary. No matter how things look. To all my fellow Christians in 2021- fight the good fight. Fight the right fight. See you in Glory!

R.C. Sproul's teaching on double imputation changed my life when I heard it at age 48 even though I was already saved since childhood. As a child, I misunderstood how bad I was from my parents and then God was mad at me too? Understanding double imputation set things right and took away the score-keeping mentality which set my heart to constant and inevitable failure. I am saved by HIS works not my own. Jesus kept the whole law perfectly on behalf of those who put their trust in Him. What a relief! To what else do I owe my servitude but Him?
My first encounter with this brilliant theologian was back in the early 70's. His early teaching lectures at Ligonier were captured on cassette tape and I was able to get a large collection of them. It was my earliest awakening to the Christian faith and led to my acceptance of Christianity.

I have enjoyed the exposition of the Word by many, in explication of much of what I would understand, but I have been blessed by this Pastor, this sermon, answering a question that has been in me for better than forty years of my faith. I am of scientific mind, a mechanic, a metal worker, I've spent a life becoming grounded in the sciences, in spite of my faith, and only now have come to know "the great Carl Sagan" chose to side-step the question he could not answer, but which I can now answer for myself, my son and daughter, and for any who ask, in faith.
I was greatly blessed this day, by the words of Our Lord, as spoken through this man of God, inspired, and raised up. I've dealt with this issue most of my life, in vain, and now have clarity in my faith, and I thank God for this.
