Where did the bit about the goblin king going back on a deal come from? Because I was always fond of the idea of conflict coming from goblins having simply a different idea of ownership, where they believed that a wizard or witch could only buy ownership of an object for their life. That it is not how we understand it, but probably should respect their customs as a trade off for a goblin made item, and wizards/witches having taken advantage of them. It kind of feels like the continued characterisation of trying to make every good guy Griffindor, and trying to make sure Godric is made a flawless person. Rather than someone who took advantage of something and not realize it was not cool.
I just have to say that you turned into my favourite TH-camr because of the Harry potter videos. I always loved the series but I lost a lot of details, which are showed to me again. Thank you very much for your detailed research. I would be glad to see more origins explained videos if possible
How can someone think about so many things at the same time JK wrote about the wizarding world, the quidditch history, Goblins , Harry's past his present and 19 years later I mean I just don't understand how she is a genius ☺
actually, The Cursed Child shows a non-canon alternate timeline, but in the end, that timeline was erased and Delphini was imprisoned. I still don't fully approve of Delphini's conception but JK certified it canon. Nothing we can do.
They could have threatened to expose wizarding world to muggles, since Goblins aren't unique to Britain. After all, Goblins are potentially superior to human wizards. They can use wandless magic, which is enough.

I dont think so. You literally just saw two snakes in the whole book and thought "they're related". It doesnt have to be. It can 100% be just a random snake, nothing to do with Nagini.
Hi! I am just wandering, Could you please explain what would happen if you-know-who wanted the sowred of Gryffindor to be a horkrox. E.g. Would the sowred/horkrox break if you destroyed an other horkrox or would you even be able to destroy horkroxes with it. I'm just curious I hope you see this and consider making a video.thank you.
Basically. The Fountain of Magical Brethren, in the eyes of a dense human, would show that all magical beings are equals. But to anyone actually looking, it shows how humans have an inflated sense of self-worth and how they believe al other intelligent magical beings are in awe of them. Which isn't true.
Nah, because there are a lot of great wizards. Essentially like in real life, bureaucracy is BS and the enemy of the people and their liberty and freedom, and in this case magical creatures as well, since again like in real life Bureaucracy it leads to totalitarianisms, and authoritarianism which has become the Modus Operandi of the Ministry of Magic. which I think Rowling may have put more than a litter of her disdain for the authoritarian British government into when she thought it up.
Well not exactly . It actually shows that goblins re really greedy creatures. For example when that goblin who made griffindor's sword thought the the sword was his because it was he who made it but actually it belonged t griffindor because he ordered the goblin to make .
Misinformation right off the bat. Yes, the goblins see the sword as stolen, but it was because it was supposed to be returned to the goblins upon Gryffindor's death as the goblins see it as lent.
Interesting that Voldemort would allow the goblins to live without following him. He wanted full control did he not? So why would he allow neutral powers to exist under his rule while he was fighting a war.
I find it curious that the wizards would be so callous with the same race that they have managing all their money. Just for comparison, the Iron Bank of Braavos. Anyone who tried to cheat them would soon find themselves overthrown.

I mean, it is a good idea! But that also begs the question on how they got the egg, now there are many ways it could have happened and I would love to hear your ideas on this. :) Great comment op
I dont think so. You literally just saw two snakes in the whole book and thought "they're related". It doesnt have to be. It can 100% be just a random snake, nothing to do with Nagini.
Everytime he said Goblins I heard Gobwins
Once you hear, you can't unhear
Megami Gamer oh damn it.
Haha so did I!
Delete this damn comment. The people don't deserve this unhearening!
So... wizards are terrible is what I’m getting from this
Basically. The Fountain of Magical Brethren, in the eyes of a dense human, would show that all magical beings are equals. But to anyone actually looking, it shows how humans have an inflated sense of self-worth and how they believe al other intelligent magical beings are in awe of them. Which isn't true.
Wizards are human so
Nah, because there are a lot of great wizards.
No the goblins are terrible. They started it all by lying in the first place.
See now this sounds like it would make an awesome movie or series of movies
Misinformation right off the bat. Yes, the goblins see the sword as stolen, but it was because it was supposed to be returned to the goblins upon Gryffindor's death as the goblins see it as lent.
classic goblins
It aint misinformation watch the rest of the video lmfao
Interesting that Voldemort would allow the goblins to live without following him. He wanted full control did he not? So why would he allow neutral powers to exist under his rule while he was fighting a war.
I am sure that the wizards and witches had hired a goblin slayer in the past.
I find it curious that the wizards would be so callous with the same race that they have managing all their money. Just for comparison, the Iron Bank of Braavos. Anyone who tried to cheat them would soon find themselves overthrown.
