Top 10 Graffiti-Worthy CS:GO Plays

- There is nothing more prestigious in CSGO than getting your own Graffiti. Sure, a major title or an MVP award might seem more important, but those fade in time. A graffiti though? That lasts forever.
Valve adds in these monuments to mark some of the most Iconic plays to ever happen at a CSGO Major and there are currently 6 in the game right now. But what about CSGOs other iconic plays? The ones you and your friends talk about, the ones that make the hair on your neck stand up, the ones that made you fall in love with CSGO.
Well today we are going to count down the top ten plays that deserve a Graffiti, even if they didn’t happen at a Major and our idea for what the graffiti should look like.

damn, most if not all of these sprays are actually perfect. Stewie's for sure looks incredible. Props to whoever on the theScore team was the designer behind them, great work
Seriously, I was about to say the same. That Cadian graffiti with a crosshair in the karambit ring is the best.

I agree that the sprays look great - but most could never be used in the game. Could you imagine playing on CT, peaking into B and mistaking the spray for a T, taking a shot and instantly giving up your position.
That 1G one is perfect though!

The Stewie graffiti is insane, whoever designed that needs a raise
true and of all of them that was a major winning moment, so it actually classifies as a graffiti
@@Tob108 but lets be real, faze had no way to kill stewie AND plant the bomb in under 10s anyways. The fact they had only 10s made it super easy for stewie, and even non awpers would be able to hold the site with an awp there, which is even easier considering that they didnt even have any nades against an awp of all weapons.
If stew wouldve pulled that hold off, while faze had time and some utility, then it mightve been a graffiti worthy play, but like this its just a play that any pro able to qualify for a major would pull off. So its not special enough in itself.
@Mshae yes, because if he didnt time the defuse so perfectly that he dies almost at the same time as the defuse is finished, he would have lost the round. It was such a perfect timing, incredibly unique and iconic. Instead of just a "nice awp play".
@@VERYR4RE he didn’t time it, he just held it. Why would he want to defuse and then die right after? That doesn’t help win the game. Even a noob could’ve pulled off that play
What makes most of these clips go from insane to graffiti worthy: top tier casting. We really are fortunate to have some splendid casters in the CSGO scene imo.

Stewies plays 10000% deserves a graffiti. It was at a major. Led to NA winning their first and only major.

@@ukasz1634 He was alone on site. Doesn't matter if his team was alive since they were all on A. His play shifted momentum and led to NA winning their first and only Major. Probably the biggest play in NA CS.
That play is historical but not impressive, just normal awp kills
bro that play is nr 1 when it will rain pigs. Even summits molly is bigger than that you kill 2 rushing dudes from which 1 was planting, in the last 5 seconds bc you camped the site all day...

People talk about dev1ce as a team player while he actually got god tier individuals, the man kept droppin around 30 kills per map for 8 years with astralis, s1mple himself didn't even touch such stats.. So as i say dev1ce's underrated in popularity and needs more recognitions.

I also think Astralis’s iconic B site execute on inferno is both graffiti worthy and there would be a perfect graffti for it. A picture of the b site fountain but the water is replaced with fire

That cadiaN play was one of the the best clutches in csgo pro league history. Also that art for it of the karambit with the sniper scope threw the handle loop looks dope as hell

The thing that makes in game graffitis so special is that they are exclusive to plays made a Major, which is the highest level of play achievable.
well, not entirely true, yes playing at the major is the highest level a player can reach other than actually winning one, but that's in terms of career goals, it's not the highest level of play achievable. If NaVi and Vitality face off at a major, that's no different to them both facing off at a random dreamhack event, the only difference is the crowd numbers watching both live and online

device 3k with 3 hp and 3 bullets on train vs nrg. That was at the major but still got no graffity what is kind of a joke
For some reason Valve has completely stopped making graffities. There is no world where that Device clutch doesn't get a graffity otherwise.
@@parikshitrao4208 i can tell you why.. the game is a cash cow.. you dont put effort or devs on a cash cow. If im correct, i believe there are less than 10 devs active on the most profitable and #1 competitive shooter of all time. Valve is paying out around 10K a week (10 workers at $27 an hour) and pulling that money in a couple hours.
Also Dev1ce was #3 player at that time. They should just put the No. 3 there 😞

To not put dev1ce's usps clutch in a major tournament just goes on to show how underrated the man has been throughout his career.

Major props to whoever came up with these spray designs, they're incredible. Only one I'd suggest a change for is the AWP throw, I think a flashbang with the AWP's price tag would be more interesting than the weapon itself
You guys honestly came up with some dope ass graffiti art for that... Even on the plays I didn't think should get graffiti you came up with something really awesome looking. Stewie2k & Simple I 100% agree with. There are definitely some other great ones you included in that list, but those 2 that I would personally pick.

If u know Olofboost has a Sign, and consider it first "graffiti", then Overpass B site has a Burning CT as his second Graffiti. He sure did get a second Graffiti. 🙄
Because all these plays on graffiti and in this video were allowed (except s1mple 2 no scopes on cache, by commentators mind), but olof boost were something like bug use.
Imagine this: we watch nowadays team cs go, or instead pros using pixel boosts and trying to invent/found something new(like big inferno silent jump). Im not saing its bad, im just saing its boring/unreallistic.
Retakes do have a loadout named 1g which is cool too.

Stewie's play is not really 'iconic' though is it. C9 winning the major is iconic, but killing someone whos planting from the back of site is not iconic, plus that play didn't win them the major, they could have very easily gone on to lose OT and then the play would've been forgotten in a heartbeat.
The ones that already have graffiti's are iconic in their own right because they still get talked about to this day, people always quote about doing a coldzera on mirage, or a simple on cache, nobody ever talks about doing a stewie by killing someone from the back of b inferno...

In order to be granted a graffiti, it MUST be a "do or die" situation, in a major. From that list, only Stewie's hold should be granted one.
Exactly. I thought everybody knew it by now, they won't add stuff (graffitis*) from random tournaments - as good as they may've been and as good as the play may've been (some that even happened online)
Yes and pretty much impossible to replicate. The coldzera jump, simple drop, olof defuse, all of them are 1 in a million plays

Was watching the cadiaN 1v4 on my tv, and even my brother who has never watched or played csgo could not leave the room out of pure suspense. Valve needs to recognize more than just majors, but the community itself. It's a play that will forever be etched in history as one of the greatest of all time.
S1mple throwing the AWP on D2 is my favourite CSGO play ever. It’s not hard to do, but why would anyone ever attempt that play, it’s insane!

All of the graffiti’s are incredible and very well made. Would be tragic for none of them to be used, especially Stewie2k’s.
Grafities are only for the most impossible plays. The Coldzera jumping awp. Olof's incredible defuse, S1mple's double noscope on Cache.
Those plays are never seen before and will never be seen before.
The rest are great plays but not impossible😅

To be honest, the one for cadian´s clutch lokked pretty sick, it is my favourite one from all of them, not gonna lie.

The nostalgia i felt watching all these clips are insane.
the craziest thing about the Cadian play was Spunj memeing how it's gonna happen from as far back as when he was solo on B site with just the p250, with bomb down on A, and vs 4 fully armored enemies. people can say what they want (cri) about impact and importance of plays but ngl probably play of the year, and to close out the series vs the number one team in the world at the time.

stewie2k actually has a ingame tribute, it's the p250 inferno skin, and in the bio of that skin it says "but look at the time". But i'll admit that graffiti would be a lot cooler
I think the KennyS knife could’ve had an AWP crossed over with the knife, but all of these looked awesome
