When was this taken? I was up at Blackcomb a few weeks ago in February. I was planning on skiing the couloir but it seemed extremely icy and had a sign saying “slide for life.” Anyways, that was pretty extreme. Good job!

I personally like the 106 better for Whistler as its more versatile for the big variety of conditions we get here but depending where you live a 98 might be better.
@@stanrey7 I demoed the 106 today at the Round house, really love it! Do you think it’s a good idea mount the binding +2cm to make it easier to turn? By the way, the kicking horse run was AWESOME!
I mount mine at +1 of rec and really like them there@@lonleyroshan . I find it makes it a little easier to turn without having too much tail for pivoting in the steeps.
Hey Oakland! I use the gopro enduro batteries they are white and the life of them in the cold is actually really good compared to the regular ones and when ever I get to the bottom of a run where I’m done filming I put it in an interior pocket to keep it warm as it helps with the duration of the battery as well. I also bring a spare but I almost never use it unless it’s like -20 out.

This was taken on Feb 22nd. the conditions have improved drastically since then!

I was expecting a hard icy landing and i got a hollow sugary landing that stopped my feet in their place.
