Whistler-Blackcomb terrain is so freaking cool. At my resort, the biggest thing open is a 10ft drop to flat and there's nothing else. I can't imagine being able to just ski all this gnarly terrain all day, great vid!
Sick vid as always, we came for a visit at just the right time - Monday and Tuesday were off the freaking chain - 2nd chair on Harmony, one of the first on Symphony, tons of Peak laps, and Flute bowl was divine. Hip deep. Hope you got to enjoy this storm!
Awesome skiing! Your videos are fun to watch. FYI it's likely not a pulled muscle from landing on a rock- it's more likely a disk compression/ herniation injury in your back. The nerve pain from disk injuries feels like a pulled muscle at first and you feel pain in the muscle that the nerve connects too. Been dealing with a disk injury all season.
gorgeous day out and great skiing as always. Glad you guys finally got some base and can stop skiing on grass! Had better conditions here in West Virginia than y'all did a couple months ago 😅. Hope to make it up there over the winter some day. Thanks for the videos!
@@BCmtb Yea its a good amount of wind noise. I've found the wind noise to be overpowering with my hero 11 so I'll play around with it tomorrow on Whis.
@@BCmtb yeah flips if you get the chance to hit up a trampoline this summer it's always a good place to start I wanted to say something but it could probably already know that first pole plant is key when you're going down something Steep and narrow or tight trees it sets the pace and rhythm also something that always helped me was working on my breathing and in my mind I would play Beethoven are Mozart which is weird because I don't listen to it when I play music lol it helped me relax I'm more of a rap reggae or rock and roll anywho breathing and relaxing are definitely key have some fun out there be safe
I ski Utah, and I’m extremely jealous of the terrain in whistler. Also, do you like skiing or mtb better? It seems you upload a good amount of both but a little more ski vids.
I can never decide what I like more. Both are so amazing. I love the creativity of trail building with mountain biking and the forest. But skiing is just so amazing when the conditions are good and you can send massive cliffs with zero fall damage. I think I like them equally
You're way too hectic. Nice lines, but the hectic skiing as well as the destruction of material made the video less enjoyable as it could have been. Still, good skiing, just not my style.
Well skis aren’t meant to be looked at, they’re meant to be riden. I reckon the person who wrote the comment on destruction of property has never skied anything gnarlier than a black in their life.
@@mountainbikingisdabest2781You reckon wrong my friend. I grew up and live in Austria, I have been on ski's since i was 3 years old and am now in my late twenties. I am an avid back country skier that has traveled quite a bit. The lines were nice but nothing extraordinary. In europe the would be nothing more than black. So I do know what i talnk about and I would bet 1000 bucks that I am a better skier than you are or the dude in the video. Destroying the base of the sky for climbing a rock has nothing to do with looks. Hitting something while going off a drop? shit happens. But climbing a rock with skis is moronic.
6:26...the ski gods were on your side for this one.

Whoo hoo!! You are killing it!! Nice front flip, ha ha!
i can't tell if he clipped a rock or he just got an accidental release
@@TheOriginal1234 just deep snow that grabbed my ski I think

Yup... Love the videos!! Keep it up! have you ever been to kicking horse? Going there soon and was wondering if you could make a video! Thank you!

Thanks for the info. Luckily the pain went away in like 10 minutes so nothing too serious
That was a super scary coffin lap. Wow. I was scared for you just getting in there. I’m glad you’re ok.

You deserve way more subscribers
Completely agree
That's some solid skiing right there.
4:10 where are this area?
Nothing else like Whistler
you've put those bennys to there limits they must be edgeless by now can't wait to see your storm day sends!
They’re in surprisingly good shape considering what they have been through. Edges are fine but dull. The issue is like 15 core shots lol
Hell yea man, these are sick lines!! I'm just curious of what your wind reduction settings or wind removal process is. Thanks
I actually don’t do anything for wind. I just have gopro 9 with nothing on it. I personally kinda like the wind noise

Yeah man your nailing those 360s congratulations once you get more comfortable you'll be huckin those off bigger Terrain like Candide👍🏼

Is this before or after the big storm? My guess is before
I forget the exact day but yah it was before the storm
is there a way to get to the fire thinning zone above Kadenwood besides enduring the mess that is P2C?
I don’t think so unfortunately
Man what boots do you use? My feet would be shot from doing a tenth of this
These are the atomic hawks I believe. I also have a bunch of issues with them but it’s manageable. I definitely need some new ones though

Do you ever do any freeride comps?
Unfortunately not. I’d love to try one someday though
@@BCmtb Ur a really solid skier. I get comps arnt for everyone but you would do very well
This guy is a good reason to not follow ski tracks using the assumption that if another skier went that way, it must be safe.
Ya, buddy. Well done. I also hate it when I land on a rock and pull a muscle in my ass.
You got an insta you put anything more on?
Marcus_vanheyst
no WAY your skis are ok after hitting that rock lol
I’ve got about 10 core shots. One of them is probably from that haha
That guy in the grey pants is unbelievably sexy
Someone put him in jail for excessive swag
