A little bit late, but welcome to Sydney! I will never get over the reactions to folks from overseas when they reach our fair shores. I take for granted our weather and scenery, and it really makes me stop and think, just how lucky I am to have been born and raised here in Oz. So glad you love our weather - it's been a weird one this year - and you seem to have arrived at the best time. Hope you enjoyed you stay in Sydney - it is pretty awesome there! Hope you get to Manly beach - Bondi is a great beach, with a lot of history, but I feel Manly is better - not so crowded, and has a far more relaxed vibe (plus it's massive - I think more impressive than Bondi) - and you can grab the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly ... it's an excellent ride!
Nice to see you guys again. Looking forward to follow along with your upcoming adventures in Australia.

You need a visa to enter Sri Lanka so we didn’t leave! I’m sure if you got a visa you’d be able to do so very smoothly 😀
Was Sri Lankan Air so cheap that you had to book this very unpunctual airline?

You are best have a stop in Perth because it lessens the flight time by about about 4 hours and that 4 hours makes a big difference to long haul flight fatigue.There are also direct Heathrow to Perth flights now which further reduces travel time.

Congratulations, you've arrived! I'm thrilled and all set for your upcoming adventure. It's quite surprising that it took just 3 days to travel all the way from the UK. Also, that lunch you had looked decent. Your journey seems to have been outstanding from beginning to end, just like the service you'd expect from Express Parking.

We’re in Australia on working holiday visas at the moment so will be in Australia saving and travelling for a couple of months before stepping it up again and travelling fast paced again

We just try and find the best lighting we can while using the go pro, it’s not great in low light! Best used outside in the sun

Saw your 2nd vid already. Wow, what a long travelling time. I did it last time in 24hrs but beside the jet lag the temp diff of almost 25degC killed me. Needed 3days to acclimatize. Was it some sort of advertising of one week train rides ? I used the opal card and took a shuttle service when arrived at night. Did the shuttle service in Melbon as well. More efficient.
There was a lot of constructions on the tracks that week so they offered free trains as well as free replacement buses where tracks were closed!
