I have a NoricTrack 2450 (bought it in August 2021). It was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago when it started making some weird sound, especially when inclining. Turns out it was just a change in climate and the back feet were now bouncing (just needed to put some rubber matting down). Only thing is, after the technician serviced it the 'seconds' on the elapsed time were no longer in synchronisation with the 'seconds' on the lap time, with the former falling back lap by lap (beforehand the 'seconds' on each were always in sync). My wife also notifced when using iFIT after the service that it was prompting her to 'follow trainer' when it had never done this before.
I noticed when the technician had the cover open he turned a screw and saying "that seems tight". Not sure why he needed to do this as we had already establised the original noise was happening because of the back feet bouncing.
So I read that the calibration can be tuned by turning a screw under the cover. I'm just hoping the technician didn't turn this particular screw which could have caused this issue, but it does seem very coincidental the issue occurred right after he serviced the treadmill. I'm hoping I can fix this because it's really ticking me off.
Hmm this is hard for me to answer never heard of climate affecting treadmill this way .So I can't answer that . On the speed issue it is possible the speed IR was turned it not a screw per say it is either a small orange or white phillips head adj port . but I thought on units 2020 and newer this port was two heavily glued to adj . check it and see if yours is . @@FitnessTechnologyServices When I say 'climate' I live in a part of the world where it goes from one extreme to the next, so I think 'just fractionally' the floor might have contracted or, the base of the machine slightly contracted. But that part of it is OK, because we just put down rubber matting which fixed the problem.
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it. Yes, I did read something about a coloured screw or something. I remember the side of the machine the technician did 'his' procedure so I'll be sure to check out that side of the machine (especially). As I mentioned, I just don't why he even needed to do this as we had already established what was causing the noise. I guess the principle applies, if it isn't broke don't fix it.

Well thank you! But not really if the system is satisfied and passed calibration it won’t let you alter it
Hi thanks for the video, is this same way to calibrate nordick track T17.5 3CHP? Just bought one was working before I move it to my place. I move it in two part just separate the upper part off the bottom . Any help is very apprecoated
Hmm I am sorry not sure 90 % of Nordic Track calibration is done this way.If not there is a small gear ⚙️ Icon that will put it in calibration.But I would go over all your connections also .

Well both you can still get key . And you could try any plastic tool that will fit .I have used a plastic Spackle knife in a pinch. What you are doing when you insert your key is hitting a micro switch in side
Hi, have a few other questions. Okay now treadmill seems to work normal, I think the issue is been cause when leaving threadmill on lid up its when it gets faulty, just have a question is ig possible that when running at a 5 speed can go super fast or max speed as it was doing yesterday ? i am a bit concert about that if im running since speeds raises quickly
Yes for sure it can speed up any time be very careful
I have changed the lower control board, red and green lights stay lit. Incline motor works but the belt does not move and can’t calibrate speed. Any suggestion
Hmm the next step is to test the motor off of a separate dc power supply. Also is there a light on your controller to say the start signal from the console is working
I have a Nordictrack viewpoint 3200 that now just turns and lights up like normal but just beeps and doesn't start moving at all and the button functions are not working it just beeps when I push the speed button and it also beeps like every minute when it just sits there. Do you have any idea what's going on? Any info would be greatly appreciated. It use to work great, then once and a while, then once and a while with a beep every minute or so. now it won't work, it just does as I described in the beginning.
Well that is a bad console. And unfortunately Nordic Track does not have parts any more you are probably going to have to search EBay to see if there are any out there
Hey, do you know what type of screw goes into the front roller of this treadmill? I’m changing the walking belt and lost the screw and don’t remember what it looks like 😢
I believe it is the same as the rear adjustable bolt. You could check it to make sure! But I think for Nordic Track it’s 1/4 20 ?
Hi! Can you help me decide which (used) NordicTrack model would be best? Shopping around between a C2270, an Elite 3750, and a T7.0 on OfferUp. Thoughts?
Well I am not good at judging treadmills I would go by the original manufacturer warranty the better they warranty it the better parts they put in. And in general I wouldn’t by a used one with a touch screen. Cost to much to replace

If it passes calibration there’s nothing you can do . A lot of treadmills don’t have the same height and speed settings and thank you

Hmm there are a lot of I guess the first one would be a bad motor controller. You will need to check the ac power to the controller I have a video on troubleshooting sole motor controller on fitness technology services

@@giovannigalante450 It is hard on older parts. You would need to look at eBay. You would have to look for a power incline board . But you could try unhooking the neutral/ white wire on incline motor and use unit running only. Look at my video on understanding Nordic Track components. Or look on my channel Fitness technology services hope this can be helpful
How much did yours cost
Hmm the treadmill was given to me for video . I think they ran 900.00 but that was 15 years ago .The console is used to run around 300.00 or less
Hi, once again. I have issue with same threadmill, now when i push speed number 3 or 2 it goes really fast it wasen't doing that now it just goes fo fast when pusshing a low speeed, i try key out press stop and up speed and i don't get the display on your video ?
Hmm that’s hard to say different issues normally when it goes fast at no matter what speed the issue is in the controller. But when it won’t go into calibration this can only be in the console. It should at least go into calibration even with bad controller. Hard to say

You could post a pic and I could tell. But in general all are the same.Until you get into the touch screen style. There are a couple of years Nordic Track were you would have to get into maintenance. And you would press a small gear ⚙️ icon to calibrate
When I'm calibrating the incline on my C2000, it makes a humming sound, has the flashing lights for a moment, and then goes to a 0 without moving. What can I do differently?
This is hard to say two possibilities either the controller has failed or you might try reversing the red and black wires on the incline motor it’s self. Red is normally up and black is down sometimes they reverse?? Be careful this is straight 110 voltage ac . Make sure you unplug unit just to be safe
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I've unplugged the white cable from the motor. The wiring all matches the schematic. There was power going to the motor, but it's giving off a burning plastic smell. I think something has melted, and it's possible it's stuck.
@@ccross04 Well the best way to answer that is to remove the incline and see if the threaded end will move by hand? Or is it locked up . Also unplugging the white wire will disable the incline. But I was trying to see if the red and black wires had reversed signal ? Believe it or not but sometimes it happens I am going to do a video on this very issue this weekend subscribe and it will update you when I post it

Well if it is running good then nothing. If it is causing issues then there is a small Phillip head adjustment normally orange? To adjust speed. But you have to be careful and don’t touch any metal
Turn the orange screw on the controller board counterclockwise slightly to slow it down a bit. Just finished doing mine today along with replacing the motor belt, now at 85% mine is right on 10.0, good luck! (NordicTrack A2250)

i was able to go to calibration did the steps but its doing the same isssue
Then it is the controller once the buttons work on the console. And it runs at full speed or at least super fast then it is the controller. I have a video on this called motor controller failure

How do I do this on my c970 pro? I tried but I didn't get any menu. I was able to calibrate the incline via ifit
Sorry I am not familiar with the c970 if it is a touch screen this style calibration won’t help

@@jrsanders1983 well you might have a issue with the console. All non touch screens should calibrate the same way. What issue are you having do the buttons beep when they are pressed
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Whether I put the key in by pushing the buttons or just put the key in without pushing those 2 buttons I get the same result. All zeros and ready to start the machine. There is a settings button and I got into a demo mode somehow after I held stop and plus after I clicked the Settings button.

Tells you not to stand on the walking belt AFTER the function starts with me on it …
In general it is better for the treadmill if you let it start with out any one on it . But no one does that
But never be on it when calibration is done
Yeah that definitely didn't work on my treadmill. I held the stop and speed button up then put the key in and let the buttons go and nothing happens..I just see 0.0

I see you said decline is this a newer unit with touchscreen Or I fit if so they don’t calibrate the same way hopefully one of my subscribers will see this and help out

Do you have power light on your controller .If yes check your harness for pinching.After that, maybe in console
