I used to help out at a homeless ministry. One of the people that came their for help had a severely autistic daughter. Sometimes when she had a breakdown I would cry. This is a lovely audio. To anyone who suffers from Autism who has had other people attack them for it, I'm sorry that happens. Not all of us are like that.
Aspie here! Though gardening isn't really my thing (due to my dislike of being dirty), this was still a FANTASTIC audio roleplay, and the writer has a good understanding of some of the quirks of Autism, what can cause issues with it, and methods to resolve those issues. And you did a great performance with this script, too! I really like how you emphasized the "lisp" of the Lamia, it's like she has the teeth and tongue of a snake rather than a human. So I also like this audio for the respect you gave to the Lamia, I like when monsterfolk feel more unique. I really like how our Lamia compared some of her own challenges as a... well, Lamia, to our sensory overload issues. It wasn't a perfect comparison of course, but it was enough to generate mutual understanding! Actually, this makes me wonder _what other monsters_ could be used as a good analogy to Autism. Perhaps a dragon who uses her immense strength as a comparison for the listener's _potential?_ As an aspie, I've found that I'm very talented in certain areas, but can have trouble bringing my full potential out. I've often felt inadequate because of that. To be honest, I really like dragons, and find them very reassuring creatures due to how huge they are, so I would really like an audio like this now that I think about it. I don't know if you make your own scripts in addition to doing script fills, but if you do, I would LOVE it if you gave an audio like this (F4A autism comfort from a dragon wife) a shot!
I loved this comment so much. Both Turt1eShark and I have autism which is probably why the script was both written and preformed so well. I haven’t recorded in a while because ai haven’t had my own quiet space to do so, but I’m moving next month so I’ll finally be able to record as much as I want. I’m a writer so perhaps I’ll write my own scripts soon enough, only time will tell.
As someone who has autism, I enjoyed this :) While most of my problems are with being inside a large group or being the center of attention, I did have problems with noise growing up, and I still have my snowman plush from Christmas 6 or 7 years ago (His Name is Snowy and I love him very much :))
Oh no! I’m so sorry about the door sound being too loud. I’m working on better lowering the volume of my sound effects. But I’m glad you enjoyed the hissing! 😁
What a lovely asmr and calming voice , i have high functioning autism but loud environments doesn't bother me , more negative ones , but it's nothing cuz a have diabetes and now some form of PTSD sadly. Also what does that Infinite Symbol in the thumbnail means , I don't know what they mean???
@Sammy_The_LoneWolf wow never knew , thanks for the reply , I will never use it , a bit awkward , but despite the differences , I think there's something that is common among people with this conditions in each type of a spectrum .but that's me, I lived 16 years thinking I was just a normal person , i don't feel attached to all this groups or trends or whatever , so thanks Kind person for explaining .
@Sammy_The_LoneWolf yep you are right , like I lost that trait of getting nervous of loud noises , but I'm asocial and very quiet , and I don't know if people are anoyyed or just talking loud , among other things . Are you European or from other place??? cuz in my country is 4 am

Love this audio great work ❤❤❤ would love to hear more of this character and thank you for your support
As a trans guy on the spectrum, thank you for this human on the internet. I feel the most seen and heard I think I have in years.
Aspie here, I like how honestly and genuinely it was made. Thank you for being sincere and delicate about it.
Of course! I’m Autistic myself and so is Turt1eShark. Both of us really wanted to make this a safe, affirming time.
