Making a property local unlinks it, I assume. So ff you make something local, I assume that means it won't be updated if you change that same thing in the original file, right?
In the blender version you could move and rotate the linked object right, and correct me if I am wrong, When you link object it would increase the size of file correct?
Why link an object when it is possible to insert an object into a collection and then link and the object will be able to move, scale and duplicate around the scene.
Yes it is possible also.But if you have more than one object in this collection, you will import all objects in this collection.Or you can create a new collection for your object u want to link,then you can link to another blend file.
