finished the game a few minutes ago. i am so grateful i stuck with it . don't sleep on this amazing, amazing game. the story is actually realty good. (i'll post this on all videos i can find)
I know this is old but experience isn't based upon the base class, it's based upon affinity. So if you have gear equipped that has more than 20% affinity for a class you don't have on, that class will gain xp. The more affinity for the unequipped class, the more xp you get for it.
It’s honestly one of mine aswell. And it’s not in the cluster of releases that is February. Big pumped. I always thought final fantasy could pull this style off well, and with the Nioh devs behind it I’m confident
Honestly take a soul shatter over hp kill whenever possible. Regardless of wether you need bars or not. Every soul kill regens MP. The higher influx of MP returned the more skills you can chain. So always take that over HP kill when possible. They also seem to drop higher quality and quantity of loot. Which is good on mobs like Tonberry's, cactuar, etc.
along with that, soul break can stagger some enemies near them and can even launch them if they are light weight and deal hp and break damage if they collide with a wall.
Was a little bit sceptical, because soulslike games tend to frustrate me too much. Tried Nioh but got angry, because I lost all my items and had to farm again.... Its different in this game. I played the demo and had soooooo much fun! 20h Playtime. Love to play online! The game is hard (in hard mode) but not unfair!
I’m very much excited about this one. The difficulty sliders are meaningful and not just number scaling, and it seems very well balanced to all player skill levels.
Learning curve was a little steep right off the bat and unforgiving early on a single hit can wreck you. Especially with no white mage early. But I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Even the loot grind didn't feel like it.
@@BillytheSkwid plot wasn't bad either. Was a little curious how it would go. Only beef is ally jobs left me only ever using 2 certain characters as the other 2 just never meshed with my jobs well.
Great tips. Just started playing. These will help. This game is pretty amazing and solid. I wish more games had this level of depth to combat with 2 ai support characters. You rock!
It's not true that all classes with same weapon, level if not equipped... Classes that are not equipped, level if there are some armor that have 20%+ affinity in that Job. Thats how It works, you can level lot of classes together using right equipment
One thing I'm disappointed by is Team Ninja not importing the smithing/customization system from Nioh. This version feels like all the customization was sucked out for just minor upgrades.
@@BillytheSkwid Agreed!! I love picking just small ones here and there to nibble on, or make a tertiary training with dumping into one class. I'm getting prepped to set myself to new zealand on xbox and start the rest of the game with all the initial advanced jobs hehe
It's amazing how many hundreds of videos and guides say "You can increase your max level on chaos difficulty" or "Fastest way to increase your max job level", but not a single one mentions exactly how to do this. I'm on chaos difficulty, I have 1216731sdfaje anima crystals, and yet all jobs are still capped at 30.
I am sorry but one would think reading the "Limit Release" rewards on missions would have given you a fairly big hint if you even tried one of them...of which on Chaos Difficulty, is almost ANY mission before level 300. Most even before 250....so...How did you just...never notice for ANY job? Even the first time you complete the mission on Chaos, it would have given you a limiter release on almost every mission....so did you just...purposefully farm the one that had NONE over and over indeffinitely and NEVER another mission? I do not understand that logic.
Can’t wait for this game. I’m a big fan of Nioh so this is a must buy for me since it’s the same developers. Not really a fan of final fantasy games but this one I’m hooked. Already pre ordered Deluxe Edition
@@BillytheSkwid I’m replaying the first Nioh right now in preparation for this. Nioh 2 I completed 4 times so I will pass with another play through hah
@@gamervet7793 it is just loot . I have destroyed bombs on hard they give you 599 xp no matter what even on story try it on the first dungeon I did it there also doesn’t matter how you kill them either
I don’t know if they are still available or not, I know the first was limited time but can’t recall if the second is still out so I wouldn’t beat yourself up
The story is like a two-year-old wrote it worst story ever in a final fantasy game like the story makes no sense at all your character has no dialogue he just grunts and says chaos that's his only words. They definitely should have been made to rewrite the story
To be fair, using Soul Shield like a parry is better than holding it, though.

Its a very fun game, I actually still play it myself

This game came out of no where for me and now its my most anticipated game releasing this year

This game is the type of difficulty that used to make me throw my controller as a kid. I love it.

Tips game doesn't tell you > Individual weapons tutorials.. WTF are you on about, these tutorials are right there on a mission selection screen!

Glad you are enjoying it. I’m finally getting to playing the full release, and enjoying it alot

I’m definitely going to check this game out when it releases
I’m super hyped. FF and Souls my dream come true
Big Hype for this game actually, job systems are just way too fun
They are. And I originally thought having so many was gonna be overwhelming to micromanage, they did a good job with passive exp.

@@nightdrivenen7909 Been awhile since I played it. But yeah, I got it sorted. I’m sure it was something simple I spaced on.
You could always hold soul shield, it always drained break iirc,
I’ll still get knight experience using void knoght
Cool im gonna play this since ita a souls like
9:00 am eastern, central or west coast?
I’ve shifted my times to 10:30 pm est sorry fam that the streaming notice hasnt been updated

experience on kills affected by difficulty?
Yes as is the level of loot dropped
@@BillytheSkwid ok cuz i heard its just items and not experience no matter the level of difficulty

Useless info everything you told us wasn’t hard to figure out just by paying attention……
Well... pretty useless tips.
It should tell you to no buy it cause it sucks. Too bad I have 38 mins too much played for a refund.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about it. This video was made from the demos, which I did actually enjoy.

Well it has poor storytelling but story itself is quite good
It’s more ninja gaiden than final fantasy. Once you have that perspective it’s less disappointing.
