This is an excellent review. It definitely has some very interesting features. The lay down shocks are very much like some Tamiya models. What's the name of the company and have you reviewed any other cars from this company?
This is ‘Pine Cone Models’… they do the little 1/16 & 1/14 stuff as well. All their models begin with ‘SG’

I think that chassis looks like a Tamiya TC-02 chassis clone. Cantilever shock suspension, battery location, odd drive shaft angle. Curious if the diffs are oil filled like the TC-02.
That 2wd would work great on a drift track. Cool looking rig

Solid review! It's actually a pretty cool looking 'cop car' that you could easily turn into a speed runner. I like those other versions in the manual, too. I wonder how that off-road version performs..

Mr Tomley, loving the content. Have an advice question. Just picked up the HPI E30 drifter. Looking at putting a set of grippery tires and nicer wheels for high speed road runs. Any suggestions 💚💚💚
Speaking of manuals, ive been kicking around the decision to trade in my 2017 mustang gt for a new dark horse. I went to the dealer and they didn't have one. So i asked if they had any GTs with a manual. The sales kid said, "Well they all come with an owners manual." I was like, yeah na like a manual transmission...a stick shift. The kid looked at me like i just pulled my own hat off and pooped in it and asked "Why would you want a manual transmission in a brand new car?" I just told him "See. When i tell my buddies about this, ill be referring to you as a kid for that question alone." Unbelievable. To be clear im only 36. But when i was his age i wouldnt OWN a vehicle with an automatic transmission. Period. Shows how fast things have changed and for the worse. Such a shame. Rumor has it, when mustangs do go fully electric in 2030, they 100% WILL have a manual transmission option. Which i think is like one of the coolest things ive ever heard.

I was entertained to see that you can actually watch the twin black lines of tyre debris (what Hammond calls "elevenses") form behind the rear wheels during the burnout.
I suspect that most of these cats will spend their lives in 4WD - in 2WD it's like driving a Tamiya M06 on hard tyres!
Yeah, good product, though. If this said "Traxxas" on the box, every fan-boy would be going crazy with excitement.
I have yet to see any company make an accurate 1969 (era) charger that gets all the proportions right. Don't know what it is but no one has done it yet...IMO....To be honest, it's the same as camaros too from the 60's. Never seen one that's "right".

I like it. I like it alllōt. Like you said the price is a bit much. I got TWO Losi 22s rtr’s for $3 less. The lighting on it is stellar.
