What if you want to trap but there are cats on the property and don't want to catch them? primarily for Raccoons is my interest for trapping. Our trapping season is during cold weather only.

I always start by considering what resources, food, cover, or water, is the most limited in the neighborhood and then add the it to where I hunt.
Any chance you guys can put some trail cam footage up of traps being triggered?
RedVanes - We are our cameras scouting for deer and turkeys at this time.

I use whole corn I feed the deer, works great. Drop a few kernels in a dog proof trap or in a cup inside a live trap

An old trapper told me he wrapped aluminum foil on the pan of his leg traps and the raccoons would see the shiny object and reach to grab it.....

Benjamin - This season we are giving then to another trapper and he's putting up the fur.
