Can’t believe this is closing. Not just in the UK but seemingly everywhere. I’m hoping they’ll take a break and do a tour. No way this won’t come back around. So pleased that many of the cast can now use this is a great stepping stone into other roles. Sam Tutty is just brilliant

Ikk i rlly wish it was on for longer ! I watched it the other day booked it 2 months ago i was so excited it WAS INCREDIBLE ! So much better in person and i listen to the soundtrack everyday and seeing it live made me cry ! I rlly wish they did a london cast recording soundtrack ! LOVE THIS SHOW FOREVER 😭🫶
Don’t they stop the production of shows professionally so they can sell the script and show for schools to produce and have their own productions, if I’m correct 🫢

Sam Tutty you own my heart! DEH closing night is gonna be so emotional, you can see how much it means to him.
I saw DEH for the first time the other week. Really wish it wasn’t closing, it addresses such important topics for so many generations. You Will Be Found is the emotional, cathartic rollercoaster needed 🥺

It looks like on ‘You Will Be Found’ the on stage monitoring for Sam didn’t seem quite loud enough (likely due to crowd noise) to enable him to hear the track 100%. Notice his left arm and hand gesture at around 05:35 as he waves it up and down and then gives the thumbs up. This will be to signal to the on stage monitor engineer who you can see at stage left to raise the backing track level. He also does it again subtly at 06:10 with a second gesture and then a subtle thumb up against the mic stand to confirm.
Past this point Sam gets into it, And him and the rest of the cast deliver a great performance. If you’ve also not seen this show….go see it! It’s beautifully done! The lighting, the story, the casting, the sound, the whole show is a must before it ends its run. I went to see it just a few weeks ago, and it went straight to my top spot (and I work in the technical production industry).
its an issue thats been brought up every year for years now by multiple actors they cant hear half the time, they need to invest in some in-ear so at least printables can hear better over the sound of central london

I saw this the day and Sam Tutty plays Evan phenomenally! It is one of my favourite theatre shows I’ve seen and that’s saying a lot when I’ve seen many! I’m so sad it’s closing as I would LOVE to watch again
You will be found always gets Me as a lonely 32 year old isolated guy with no friends or other half I do feel isolated many times but this song comforts me. 😢

The movie really did a number to this musical. Now it is closing almost everywhere.
It seems you're connecting the movie's poor performance with the stage version. There may not be a link, just poor ticket sales following the pandemic isolation.
They really did get the casting of Evan so wrong for the Movie. Having someone who was in his 30s (and looked his age) play someone around 18 was just madness.
@@l.a.3479 It actually is correlated. If the Movie did well, people would have gone and watched the stage version but because it was crap, curiosity went down for some people.

Is the stagedoor still a thing? (I've been a fan for 2 years but I'm not from the UK or US so we dont have any musical theatre over here). Would love to meet them but I have no idea what to do to get to the stagedoor :(
@@sunnyblue7800 If you see a Broadway performance in NYC, the "stage" door is often not far from the main entrance to the theater. When the show's over, and you go outside, you just follow the crowd.
I don't know how common stage doors are on tours. I recently saw the tour here in the U.S., and there wasn't one.

I would've never guessed they have an English accent. I'm always amazed how some Englishmen can perfectly imitate an American accent. Tom Holland is a great example, I always thought he was American

When I saw it a week ago, Ellis Kirk understudied Evan. He was so good. So dont be disappointed at first ;)

i went yesterday and got marcus harman who understudies evan as well, he usually does the wednesday shows and sunday matinee and he was absolutely incredible and yes i would of loved to see sam but marcus was brilliant! understudies are usually so underrated and im privileged to have watched marcus!,
We saw DEH last night and Marcus Harman played Evan. He was outstanding!!! Simply awesome!! I have given three standing ovations in the last twenty years. Marcus got my fourth!! His performance was breathtaking: awkward and nerdy like I imagine Evan to be. Would not have swapped him for anyone.

i really think the movie lit a torch underneath the stage shows, and tainted it!, it's a shame :(
I am not too sure about it. This musical is not for everyone, so the targeted audience is not big enough. I personally did not like and thought the film was actually easier to sit through. Just did not speak to me and the stage is so empty and the scenes come and go like an American sitcom. I am sure it will still be around as there are many fans who’d like to see it touring.

They didn’t! Jack pointed the mic to the audience and we shouted it out :)

Must be the sound. We saw him at the show the same night and he was incredible!

Why do they have to talk in American accents?
Bc the show is originally from a America and it plays in an American high school, that's why the American accent.

I’m hoping it was a sound issue as they were so off key it was quite horrendous which isn’t fair as they obviously can sing or wouldn’t have been doing it for three years. But still not a great advert for the show or film
Uh can we talk about how Conner looks like he’s about 35 and Evan looks about 25 lol weird casting choice usually the people they cast at least look like older high school kids. Conner looks like he’s a married father of 3 haha
