I really like the new start for your videos and Happy Belated birthday Pat! Trying to catch up on your videos and I must admit I'm a bit behind and quite out of order. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Glad you are doing so well, following such a horrendous crash.
Thank you. Making these videos everyday means if you go away and come back, you have to peddle very hard to catch back up with us. We have to thank our daughter for her invaluable help, without which I cannot imagine where we would be.
Great analogy about our country, love seeing it from the van but don’t like living here that much anymore, definitely prefer Scotland as a base, don’t think we are not watching, we are as internet allows, been off grid for ages and about to go on a ten week tour of north Scotland. Take care of yourselves 👊👍🏴🚌🥰
It's hard to watch our country from anywhere Steve. I had a feeling you were out of signal. Enjoy your tour of North Scotland, you'l need all them blankets and cushions.😄
I don't like hills either Pat. I've had bad legs for over 12 months and it aggravates them walking up hills. Never heard of Seasalt clothing so that's a new one on me. Its called realism Trevor, not pessimism.😁 You sound like Karl when you talk about the government. We've gone from one pratt to another unfortunately.
Why people continue to believe these lying buffoons baffles me, people should just stay at home on poling day. People have more power than they realise.
I totally agree with your thinking of what’s going on in our governments. We have the same problem in Canada. A efficient restaurant can handle large groups and busy times. But like you I’ve been in guilt places and waited. Have a nice rest of your weekend. Take care.
We'v been living beyond our means in this country for a long time now, were like a drunken man staggering in his own vomit. Organisation is all it takes Debbie, and the fish & chip restaurant had it in spades.
We have been having a rethink whilst we are away. We have a big tag axle motorhome which we love, but it limits us where we can go all the time. Always have to choose places where we can walk to somewhere, like shopping or eating out. We now think maybe a caravan would be a better option and buying a better car. Its so expensive running a motorhome, with tax, mot, insurance etc. So watch this space Trevor! We are travelling back home tomorrow, so may see you then. Bye!!!
Did you get the boiler fixed. There's more work with a caravan setting up and taking down, would you be alright with that? Having the car would mean you could stay on cheaper sites away from attractions, but drive there.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun Didn't have the pump we needed so hubby ordered it online and we should get it when we get home!! We have hot water, just no heating! Wasn't so cold last night thank goodness! Yes, setting up a caravan is a lot more work, we have been watching them here, so its pro's and con's isn't it. We are just fed up with not being able to park anywhere or visit places. Have to wait and see Trevor!
Another Van-life couple (By the Curb) went to the Weatherby Whaler last week and thought the food was awful. Many locals had warned them not to go there.
When we used to go camping I had a book and every evening I would write down where we were the weather the cost of camp and what we did that day. They bring back memories when I read them.Always totted up petrol and camp fees at end of trip.
@@deepayne1930 It must be six or eight months since I had fish & chips at the Wetherby Whaler in Wetherby but they were excellent then, and we ate there once a fortnight from 2000 to 2013 and they were always brilliant, and we know good fish & chips when we taste them, so I don't know what's gone wrong there.
Would be fascinating to know more about the olden days a bit. Im in the Usa florida originally from Yorkshire and miss people talking like me. It would be nice if you added info about your trips so we can look into it. I love the idea of a scottish coach trip when we visit there and that one you met the people who did it sounded great.❤
We seem to be always talking about the olden days Lorraine. It's one of my weaknesses giving details of things, I forget names of places and roads we take. I don't know what kind of details you need Lorraine. The American people who were on a coach trip at the Appleby Manor Hotel were only in the room briefly, and we didn't know what coach trip they were on, so I am sorry I can't give you much info about it. We never know what we are going to talk about each day, it's mostly spontaneous, so we hope you will continue following us and who knows what topics will come up.
Fully agree my husband has a favourite wool jumper it’s 20 years old I say it’s scruffy and won’t let him wear it but if we’re at home he never has it off when we are going anywhere I hide it otherwise he would pack it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️some days I think no need to wash my hair today nobody going to see me but then when I do wash it I feel better so it dose you good to make an effort with ourselves This country don’t make sense to me I’m of an age where remember the good times but to this younger generation they think now it

Love your videos, Trevor. We were on the road in the U.S. for 5 years and met a lovely couple, Trevor and Pat, at the Triple R Park outside Crystal City, TX and again at Pio Pico outside San Diego, CA. Did you two RV through the US while circling the globe? Or can there be two lovely British couples named Trevor and Pat?

Happiest of Birthday Pat!🎉🥳🎂. I too do like only walking in flat areas. Going down is always easy, it’s the coming back up that is never the best.
Pat has AF which is why she struggles walking up hills Abigail.
