MCV have a superb range of items, very well detailed and well worth the price. I thought I would order a single engine kit from them just to see the quality right up close before ordering other items.
The actual kit was a very good $22 but to my surprise the postage was a hefty $88 😳 . Just thought I would make people aware so they don’t get the same shock I did. Needless to say I couldn’t justify purchasing an item whose postage ,costs way more than the actual item itself. I’m sure there are plenty of non US modeller’s that would buy but not with the extortionate postage costs.
Thanks Ray! Personally, I have not encountered this kind of shipping expense here in the US. Only when I order something from Europe. Ouch! Shipping has indeed gone a little crazy. I’m even very careful when I order off eBay or Amazon. Sometimes the shipping is indeed more than the kit or part. Sadly the world we live in right now.

@@MarkBatsonHobbydude007 Hi Mark, thanks for your comment. You’re very lucky to not have the postage costs because those items from MCV are superb. I don’t think there is anyone in Europe that does or could do ,such a great job of those engine kits.

Nice engines, but I like exotic V8s, Buick nailhead, Olds 400 and 455, Pontiac 389- 421, Ford SOHC, 390 WEDGE, Ford 6 cylinder, 409 Chevy, Caddilac grad engine etc.
Also like to see AMC 390 AND 401 V8 engines.....
Thanks brother!! Awesome engines indeed! I’d take a good nailhead and a ford 390 now. With all the schematics online, shouldn’t be hard to write a program for them.
The finish on MCV parts is excellent. I have the 6 cylinder earmarked for a boat. Also have others in inventory. Currently I’m working on an engine from another parts house. The quality isn’t as great as MCV. Especially on the valve covers. Too many layer lines around the raised lettering. It looks like it was a poor machining job from billet and a challenge to sand. Anyway, I’d stick with MCV. 👍👏👏😁
