Guys, it is technically incorrect to call the engine a "big bang" engine. Yamaha has always maintained that it is not and should not be called "Big bang". I have the 2009 version in white and silver. Love the bike. Nice video.
Really nice work on your bike mate. Looks like you went the right direction with the carbon bits. I own a 2011 raven black as well. Next upgrade is quick shifter!
Hey. Nice bike 👍👍 I felt the same when I got my Big Bang. Took ages to get used to it. Had it 8 years now and will never sell it. By far the best bike I’ve owned
is it normal for the engine to get really hot quick weve used this engine in a buggy and compared to like the MT-07 honda cbr they take about 15 mins or so to get hot at idle for us but this R1 big bang its literally probably about 5 minutes or so at idle

Nice 1 bro. Yea they are a serious machine
All 09 series have 2 factory problems .regler starter electric and plastic around headlights are melting.
That time of year again where they think it's their personal racetrack .
Curious, what windscreen and carbon tank cover do you have?
Hi. It had all the carbon on it already when I bought it. But I remember seeing an American company doing all the stuff on ebay.com
Where did you get the windshield ?
It was on the bike when I bought it. Iv seen them on ebay
