Hey, great video, found it while googeling for "denon save configuration". But I am still not sure what exactly is saved. Just EVERYTHING? Also minor things like e. g. the speaker level settings for every source? If my X-4800 goes down into flames today, can I buy a new one, update its firmware, load the old config from USB and I will not notice any difference compared to my former AVR? Thanks for your input. I will now try to find out what you did about "atmos" 😊, since there are so many enthusiastic comment about it here.
Channa thanks for the video! Question, if we are using the Mult-EQ Editor app, can we just save a copy of our calibration on there as well?! Edit: just saw someone ask the same thing and got my answer that we CAN just use the app to save a copy! Thanks!!
So doing this saves all avr settings and speaker calibration? Because when after using the app for calibration, if I want to try a different setting I just send it to the avr that way.
I’m using 4800h Denon thanks for your tip on the atmos it kept me from returning it for a Sony 5000es also up firing atmos seems to be working trying to get the bass correct still 5.1 2
Channa. I have a Pioneer 505($1149) & an Anthem 740 ($2660). To me they sound pretty much the same. The same features. Is there an argument for keeping the Anthem?
Only for better built quality in anthem avr Amplifiers that's all. For dirac pioneer 505 is better assuming you have high sensitivity 88db and above speakers are connected to pioneer avr.
@@audiodynamicsmaxsolutions I kept the Pioneer. I have Martin Logan Electromotion esl's. I use an Emotiva 2 channel amp to drive them. But they are pretty sensitive.
@@TechnoDad and thanks for all the hard work you put into these vids you post to help numpties like me! Speakers on a stick… love it. Saving the pennies post the Christmas expense to grab a copy of the spacialCD!

Hello I have a Yamaha RX-V6A and I wondering if I can connect my echo studio wireless. Thank you
Does it save your settings from slot 1 or slot 2?
Must I have the MultEQ-X to load the magic beans filters? I'm running a Denon X4700H
That's the easier way to import the filters. The other way takes a lot more time.

Yes, you can use the app as well to do what you are saying. This is for those that do not have the app.

I watched it once on a system I had a while back and it sounded great from what I can remember!
I am hoping you get to do your review on the dragon soon. Excellent video as always.
I never knew about this. Thanks.
You're welcome!
