I also have my virtual UCL interview next month, did they ask you questions about your previous classroom experience?
Also, is there time to ask questions to the interviewers at the end? what did you ask? I'm really bad at asking questions because my mind goes blank from nervousness lol
Sam Hey! So glad you found in helpful! They didn’t answer questions specifically about classroom experience but I think if you have any you should draw on any experience you have in the classroom or working with kids. They love that! There will be time for you to ask questions at the end. Have a think about things you want to know, there’s no stupid questions! Do they have plans for if schools were to close again for any reason maybe? Or something to do with how the pandemic has impacted their teaching? Best of luck!! Hey! Glad you liked the video! To prep I worked on some areas of maths I wasn’t too confident in. Fractions for me! Idk if all courses have English & maths audits though so do check for your course!
Just reminded myself how to do some basic operations tbh.
For interview just go over the basic questions & have some answers in mind. Drawing on experience is always good when it comes to answering interview questions! Hope this helps & good luck!✨

Hi, I have my virtual interview at UCL soon I was just wondering if there were any tips you could give in regards to the questions asked, what current issues in Education I can talk about and how did you find the maths and english audits?
Hi!! With regards to interview questions I can’t remember that much tbh but I drew a lot on previous experience I had and I think that’s always good to do! Other than that I’d say just the basic questions like what makes you suited to be a teacher. If I was you I’d have a look at the news or ask any teachers you might know about the issues in education! The maths and English audits were just fine, I’d say about GCSE level? I didn’t do much in the way of prep for them & I’m really not good at maths!
