Miss Debs this brings back memories of my childhood. The only difference mom made to this dish was she added brown vinegar as part of her seasoning and included tomato puree. When that chicken was cooked it was to die for. You can't beat the old fashion style of cooking and seasoning. Scallions onions black and white pepper the vinegar and the puree. I couldn't have been no more than 6. This was seasoned over night as we had no fridges back in the day.
