    Dude I’m glad y’all got to demo this. I’m a Backer from the original Kickstarer and still haven’t received mine. So dope

    there's one at some bar in Austin... called the Kung Fu Saloon... my friends and I had a blast with it!!! sadly, the hipsters that frequent the bar don't really care much for it... even though it's a damn arcade bar...

    We were just playing this today at a local bar/arcade and wondering how it worked. One of the things we noticed was the slightest bit of lag between the rotation control and the player paddle. It was able to be adapted to, but it was noticeable. It was initially assumed to be an aspect of the implementation, but I haven't had the pleasure of playing an original Pong machine -- was there a similar bit of input lag?

    I’m looking into picking up two for our arcade! Isn’t there a difficulty setting you can change? I’m wondering if one should be set on easy and the other on hard

    Crazy to think the original was a video game adaptation of Ping Pong, and now it's basically been reverse engineered in a sense

    We have this at the arcade I work at, people think it's too hard. I love it though.

      I think it's the slight lag and mushy movement of the paddles that throws them off.

      As the gamers say nowadays: "git gud!"
      The controls could be tighter though. You do get used to it at least.

      Because physical things are neat.

    I played this and I was not impressed. It reminded me of that wind up toy where you have to anticipate where the ball is going to go and push the correct button before it gets there. It's hard to believe that so much engineering and money went into something maybe 20% better than that wind up toy.

    • @aestheticstorm

      lmao have you ever played Pong bro?

    • @jaygothard7797
      @jaygothard7797 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah "bro" I've played pong. I was alive when pong was the closet thing we had to Xbox One.
