I remember back in the summer of 1992 when my mom took me to the TLC concert to watch them perform. My dad and older brother were always making fun of me for listening to TLC as a child because I was into a "girl" group, so therefore dismissed me as "not manly" and calling me a "lady boy". But I didn't care. I loved TLC as a child and had a great time watching them perform live at the concert. I even got to meet them up close and personal and they were even welcome to let me and my mom take a picture with them.
Love you, Mom. You knew how to treat your youngest son, even though my dad and older brother treated me like garbage and accused me of being feminine for liking TLC.

A close friend had it and it was difficult to handle while he was alive, and for those with no money or inadequate insurance, it can be devastating. Sadly, I've seen it first hand. The late great Paul Williams of the Temptations had it and refused to see a doctor for treatment of the pain it bring, turning to alcohol instead. A big loss.

I love how when they dance they showcase their personality. Left Eye danced with so much energy which repsented the CRAZY as she was so out there and care-free. Chilli dances so seductively and sensual which represents the SEXY as she is exactly that: a sexy R&B girl. And T-Boz dances so smoothly which represents the COOL as she is so laidback and chill. I appreciate this because even though they're all doing the same choreography, they don't dance like stiff manufactured robots that we see today and we actually see their personalities through the way they dance.
