I love how this "kids show" have an episode where the main characters go to the moon, but instead of them getting into any wacky adventures, they just stand around at talk on it because that would require an actual animation budget.

I hate the way the characters bounce around for no reason. They're like "oh shit this is boring we need to add some movement or something to keep the kids occupied" - *characters wobble slightly* People don't typically talk with their hips. Maybe someone does but I don't think it's that common.
this is because they animated it in Adobe Animate, the easieast and cheapest way to animate, I know that because i've used it, you just say your lines into the camera and the software does the rest automatically like eye blinking, mouth movements and head movement tracked from the camera, but they didn't set it up correctly so the head movement was applied to the whole body of the characters.
I actually am starting to think they are like some sorta drag and drop """stop motion""" because it looks like they aren't using any real program and are just bouncing the JPEG of the characters with a mouse. Idk i hope im wrong tho
@@LunarShimmer yes it does, because the software automatically matches the camera's mouth movement to a set of pre drawn mouths, if you open your mouth after you say your line the program will pick a mouth that better matches the action you did on camera, so maybe the guy opened his mouth after his line in this case.

Fucking Michael Collins the guy that stayed behind in command capsule while the two guys walking on the Moon as we are to views as winner. The concept of being proud to be American is meant to inspire people to do the right thing for their country no matter how small the effort. Like picking up some trash or helping someone or being courteous stuff like that.

Participation trophies would offer more morale boosts I think if they were provided in a different way maybe perhaps not minimizing their impact on a kids perception of it, they're just not implemented all that effectively. Requires confidence on the end of the bearer.
What makes this doubly better is the moon landing wasn't about the success of capitalism vs communism. The two big heads on rocket technology were actually captured german scientists, one captured by America and one by the Soviet Union, and America basically lucked out on getting the better one.
It was more than that. The actual engineering that went into those projects was insane. People died to test those shuttles. The actual landing is the success of human ingenuity and bravery of all those people, soviet or american.

I thought the reason they used it was both for kids and because its blasphemy.
I hate the way the characters bounce around for no reason. They're like "oh shit this is boring we need to add some movement or something to keep the kids occupied" - *characters wobble slightly* People don't typically talk with their hips. Maybe someone does but I don't think it's that common.
this is because they animated it in Adobe Animate, the easieast and cheapest way to animate, I know that because i've used it, you just say your lines into the camera and the software does the rest automatically like eye blinking, mouth movements and head movement tracked from the camera, but they didn't set it up correctly so the head movement was applied to the whole body of the characters.
I actually am starting to think they are like some sorta drag and drop """stop motion""" because it looks like they aren't using any real program and are just bouncing the JPEG of the characters with a mouse. Idk i hope im wrong tho

@@LunarShimmer yes it does, because the software automatically matches the camera's mouth movement to a set of pre drawn mouths, if you open your mouth after you say your line the program will pick a mouth that better matches the action you did on camera, so maybe the guy opened his mouth after his line in this case.

Fucking Michael Collins the guy that stayed behind in command capsule while the two guys walking on the Moon as we are to views as winner. Without the guy sitting in behind in the capsule simply participating in the mission, the lander wouldn't have someone to make sure it was functional and safe to land, and that all three of them would have been able to get home because the capsule had a few issues that he had to be there to fiddle around with in order for the capsule to keep functioning and not turn into a frozen bit of hardware.

What makes this doubly better is the moon landing wasn't about the success of capitalism vs communism. The two big heads on rocket technology were actually captured german scientists, one captured by America and one by the Soviet Union, and America basically lucked out on getting the better one.
It was more than that. The actual engineering that went into those projects was insane. People died to test those shuttles. The actual landing is the success of human ingenuity and bravery of all those people, soviet or american.

The communists that "took over Russia in 1917" (it wasn't until actually 1919 that they gained a firm control, and that was after overthrowing the original post-Tsar Provisional Government that was intended to be a republic and fighting a civil war) didn't call themselves "Soviets," they called themselves Bolsheviks (derived from the Russian word for majority, though ironically they were originally a minority of even the far-left communists)
"Soviets" were actually regional assemblies, sort of like state houses of representatives. They sometimes also represented groups of people, like there would be Soviets for soldiers or tradesmen for example.

You know what's weird? Russia would've won the race to the moon, but they didn't actually have any facilities to launch a rocket big enough and couldn't build it because by then they had been bleeding money.
